October 3, 20241 yr I have just noticed that all eleven airports that I have in my wish list at the MS Marketplace have increased in price by approximately 12%. What's that all about? October 3, 20241 yr Has the GBP been doing that bad recently? Why do I ask this? Last year we had a similar problem here in Argentina, but the price hike was around 1900% (yep, 20x higher prices). Turkey had a similar issue around the same time. Our macroeconomy here was a disaster. It's still under recovery, but I'll stop here. I don't want to get into politics. When we can't discuss fact / truisms then I would have a problem with that. Politics would be like "I like candidate x" or, "I like policy z which is supported by political party abc". But discussing a factual event that actually happened...that's not political. That reminds me, I've had a certain airport in my wish list for a while, and haven't purchased it yet. I probably should go ahead and purchase it... Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
October 3, 20241 yr Could it be a premium added since buying it now gets you the 2024 upgraded version later?

October 3, 20241 yr or in preperation for black friday ? Discounted prices will look better that way if they are the same as last year Antoine v Heck --- Ryzen 5800X3D, 32Gb DDR4 RAM@1600 Mhz, RTX3090 (24GB VRAM). 2TB SSD - VR with Quest 2 via link cable
October 3, 20241 yr Author I have been waiting for prices to come down, not go up Let's just hope that there is a corresponding 12% increase in discounts when a sale appears. October 3, 20241 yr I stopped buying at regular price and wait for 50% off or more sales or black Friday specials. MSFS
October 3, 20241 yr They announced this in the August Developer Stream, citing exchange rate fluctuations and a desire to bring their prices more in line with other stores.
October 3, 20241 yr Author My desire is to purchase addon airports at significantly discounted prices, so this may just steer me to another department store when the time comes.
