October 14, 20241 yr CTDs can be caused by using the wrong video driver. Try a different driver. Try without any add-ons on your community folder. I have not bought it yet, but it looks like a must have add-on for MSFS 2020. MSFS

October 14, 20241 yr Author Its simple for me,use Atmos and play the CTD lottery,dont use Atmos and have no CTD,trouble free flight.

I have had no crashes until installing and using Atmos. So I stopped using it. And lo and behold, no crashes. October 14, 20241 yr Same here, I have been into flight simulation for long enough to know and just a bit of a coincidence I had my first CTD in ages the same day I started using Atmos. When reading how it works that's not even a big surprise. Now flying without it, I thought I'd miss it more but I actually don't really mind. It's one of those "looks dramatic when compared to default" addons that I somehow don't actually miss very much when returning to default... Hopefully MSFS24 eliminates the need for this kind of product in the first place - less things to run in the background and cause issues. One thing I really don't miss is that awful user interface and the guesswork of "has it applied the presets I wanted?" after having to re-select said preset every single time I fly...

October 14, 20241 yr Just flew slightly over 2 hours with Atmos active. No problem. It must be peoples different configurations and / or background apps. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
