The only clocks I had to alter was the kitchen cooker and clock in the car. Everything else was automatic. But yes, as usual I was complaining when our clocks changed and constantly reminding my daughter what the REAL time was. 😃 Edited November 2, 20241 yr by martin-w

The novelty of recording TV programmes and watching them later was ground-breaking. At least we had decent TV in those days unlike the 176 channels of dross spewed out now in glorious high definition. 😉 Ray (Cheshire, England). My kid gets excited about Minecraft but that is different Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Not only that, but it also was our first TV that could receive UHF channels. I could finally watch the channel that had all the Japanese cartoons like Speed Racer and Astro Boy: Edited November 4, 20241 yr by Mike A added "1969"

We don't have anything else, no Sky TV or anything like that. I'm sure we pay less than we would for Sky. Plenty of awesome science fiction, including the new series of Silo on its way. House of The Dragon, Game of Thrones, all the Star Trek Next Generation, Stargate, DS9, Foundation and plenty more. But yes, there is also plenty of rubbish accompanying the good stuff.
