December 9, 20241 yr MSFS2024 straight out of the box looks much better than 2020 with jam on top, so I can't wait to see what 2024 plus addons will look like! December 9, 20241 yr MSFS 2020 looks amazing on my 2015 specification PC. Yes, there are a few minor issues that always bug me when I see them (land bars/DEM/AI plane behaviour etc), but I still can't quite believe how so much detail can be rendered by my little i5 7600K CPU, and its GTX 980Ti sidekick. It makes me feel proud that I did a good job when I built the PC way back in January 2020 Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
December 9, 20241 yr What issues?, I don't have any, except a longer time spinning circle during "CHECKING FOR UPDATES", lasting more than before, but it always get in. December 9, 20241 yr I'm patiently awaiting the first SP for REX ATMOS. I like the way the clouds look when effects are added. MSFS

December 9, 20241 yr Author Keep in mind that adjusting RGB/Gamma in NVCP + NV Freestyle filters and especially REX Atmos dramatically changes the “look and feel” of the sim. And combine that with the Map Enhancement Mod ( Latest Bing - HD ) and It looks so much better than a vanilla MSFS 2020. When MSFS 2024 is much more stable and both Prosim + Wideview + AIG have been made compatible than I will go to MSFS 2024 and do the same. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

You, perhaps more than anyone should stick with MSFS2020, soon to be known as the Windows 10 of Flight Sim 😉 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

New isn't always better, and sometimes it is worse. Look at 2024.. LOL

I don't get slide shows flying into a big city like some 2024 users report, I don't have to walk around a large jet before I can fly, my airports at night don't look like a cartoon set, etc.etc., and at 30,000+ feet where I normally fly, I can't see pebbles anyway. 😁 Edited December 9, 20241 yr by Bobsk8
