  • The PC24 is mostly fixed and my FPS and RAM usage are back to normal.  IT's a step in the right direction!

  • Finished first flight with latest update - no issues. Aerosoft's ENVA to ENGM, Fenix A321, Active Sky historical weather, FSHud ATC, AIG models. Great performance - although total system RAM in use wa

  • My performance has definitely improved with this patch.  FPS are higher at complex airports and much smoother, even at airports where I wasn’t having the massive stutter issue.

Simwing's Munich

Had the same yesterday. Was ok once in the air. But since I don’t have it with other Airports I suspect the cuprit is Simwing‘s EDDM - let alone that the taxiway bridges are still blocks which cannot be crossed, so that alone made me deactivate that airport again until I get a decent native 2024 version of EDDM…

Thanks for that. Saves me fiddling endlessly around thinking it's something on my end. I think this message also applies to sea traffic. They need to fix it.

Strange as I'm using the Simwings EDDM and can cross the bridges. Have you disabled the default EDDM?

I thought Simwings EDDM is not yet officially compatible with 2024. Just had a look in the Contrail app. EDDH (Simwings) shows up under 2024, EDDM does not.

I cannot install this update. It says is updating but nothing happens. In MS Store "There has been an error". In the Xbox App it says: Error and I cannot get into MSFS 2024 pAge on the xbox app. Anyone know a fix?

Is it really that hard to fix it? I just dont understand the silence of Asobo or Nemeth Design on this matter.

It’s probably not hard to fix but would likely be up to Nemeth to fix it but I also wonder if they just straight ported it to FS2024 and never touched it assuming it was fine.  With their quality control I wouldn’t put it past them.  Asobo probably doesn’t even realize it’s broken either with the massive amount of other bugs and issues.

Offically no, but seems to work fine.

Well… that could be indeed. Do I have to fiddle with empty folder names or can I just disable in the library?

You should be able to disable in the library. I just use this addon which scans your community folder and the streamed packages folder, and automatically creates overrides.

As Cpt_Piett said, I did it through the Library.

The bridges are only blocks for you because you have not properly deactivated the default munich. You have to do that in order for the Simwings Munich to work.

And the RAM filling up is not limited to the SIMWINGS MUNICH. I got the same in Christchurch, or Bremen. The hotfixed, fixed absolutely nothing for me, the ram allocation of the sim is atrocious.

There’s a bug vote for it on the official forums:

All MSFS updates are installed automatically when you load the sim.
