Didn't want to install until it's "perfect and ready" for 2024 but getting impatient.  Is it worth it or are there some peculiarities that ruin the immersion?

I was amazed at the improvement to the FM in the C414 by porting over to 2024...  It was something tangible that could be felt on landing...  The plane felt less rail-like and more like it was "flying with intertia".  It was a very positive experience.  Guessing the Commanche FM won't benefit much (if at all) since it's already pretty good in FS2020 but wondering about that aspect as well...

Affirmative.

Yes, I flew a circuit with it last night and it is flying great. They also have updated their installer in case you want to reinstall and not just copy the folder.

I believe that, once you have copied over the 2020 files to 2024, you also need to apply a hotfix:

It was the first thing I installed. Works very nicely. 

I fly it all the time in MS2024 the only very minor PITA is the click spots on the tablet are nopt as "big" as the could be but that doens't stop me flying it almost daily. You've got nothing to lose, copy the folder over add the hotfix and fly. 

I have installed the A2A Comanche in MSFS 2024 and also the MSFS 2024 compatible version of the TDS GTNXi. The TDS GTNXi is so dark I can hardly read it. I have increased the backlight, but that makes little or no difference. Any thoughts how to rectify this?

Check out the thread linked, it's a known issue being worked on.

Make sure you install the hotfix from the thread linked above, it should solve that. This is a known issue with 2020 planes being ported to 2024.

Thank you guys - all working well now - I had missed the thread that you mentioned - probably due to the mad Christmas period - when somethings only get half done...........................

Is the Hotfix just for the 2024 installation of the Commanche?

Does this new Installer give you the option then for installing into either Sim?
