A recent flight of mine.  If you think this is still not good enough for you, maybe try a different sim?

Beautiful country side. However, I rarely do VFRs, especially in the country.  My issue is with the big cities which is normally where I fly.

    I think that the OP and many others who obsess about visual errors m deficiencies in MSFS would be absolutely shocked if they ever got in a real simulator, meaning a level C or D device.  These are mu

Of course you can look much further because you’re using the drone view to take your screenshot. You now need to get on the Fénix or PMDG and take a screenshot from inside the cockpit.

I am happy with this view. If you aren't well, that's fine too.

Wait, hold the phones people, did this man just invertedly admit that there's nothing wrong with the horizon rendering in the two sims? It's actually quite capable of rendering a realistic horizon in the areas he show off as "problematic", so his sweeping statements just completely fell flat? Now the goal post is moved to being inside the cockpit, i.e the problem isn't that the sims are incapable of doing it, it's specific conditions? So it's not UNIVERSALLY bad as you stated in your very first post? Incredible.

Anyways, big nope, still capable of seeing much further and much clearer than your screenshot;

There were plenty of buildings near and far in that video.

Clearly, if you are 5000' and he is at (checks notes) around 2500 you are going to see much farther. I guess, maybe. I dunno why we continue to do this other than we have waaaaaaay to much spare time on our hands tonight.

My friend, what’s to the left of that picture? That looks blurry to me. Why the 40 degree turn? Are you trying to get me to look down and not straight ahead? I only recognize Regan National because I am very familiar with the location. You can’t even see the runway and you’re only 12 miles away. Nice turn though!

Why the 40 degree turns in all these pictures?  It’s comical.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Tex Johnson. Alive and well.

I think many people have shown the OP that his issue is his computer and settings in simulator. At this point I think he's just trolling for a response from users. I took my Fenix out of DCA to JFK using live weather and LOD of 150 and got sharp clean distant scenery all the way. I got some shuddering on approach which was probably caused by AIG being used but no blurries whatsoever.
