You have proven nothing with your pictures.  Several individuals posted pictures showing the exact same issue, and this is a well documented issue.  The classic tricks of making drastic turns to deceive and distort the view. Nice try, now go ahead and enjoy your sims. I have guests coming and we’re going to have a party! I am a senior  Captain and I don’t fly on holidays.

Near KBVS, WA, clear skies, TLOD 400:

I'm wondering if OP's issues could be related to settings. Their screenshot of NY looks hazy in the distance, which shouldn't happen with clear skies.

Reminds me of a thread we had a while back, guy having problems with exposure / contrast inside the cockpit. Think it was related to HDR. Everything inside the cockpit was just blown out, too white and over-exposed, creating a weird haze as well. 

I agree with the OP.  In 2020 on a clear night flying over Europe at 34000 while the lights of towns and cities within a close radius look realistic in the mid distance and beyond they look a blurry mess - LOD at 400 makes no difference.  I was hoping this might be fixed in 2024 but it seems not.

You and many others have now reported the same issue on this thread. This problem has also been reported across many forums. This is not a HDR or color settings issue. This is a sim problem. However, some people don’t see, either because they don’t want to admit the problem is there, or because they don’t have a keen attention to details.
