January 11, 20251 yr I have had this happen before and a repair in the x box app has always fixed the checking for updates stall for me.

January 11, 20251 yr Time to get to the CHECKING FOR UPDATES screen - 40s Time to get past CHECKING FOR UPDATES - 5m35s Standard MSFS screen appears (the one with the Airbus A320/F18 Hornet/Giraffes etc) I cancelled the loading process at that point, because that is not normal. Time to get to MSHQ with a blazing pitchfork if this does anything to my MSFS installation? Less than a second. January 11, 20251 yr So I resorted to FS2024 since I cant get FS2020 to start. I shouldn't have bothered. For some unknown reason I'm getting 10FPS. Its a stutter-fest.
