I hope I dropped the two files in the correct folder.

If you have a default installation:

MSFS2020: C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content

MSFS2024: I'm not sure since I have a custom installation. Hopefully someone else can give advice 🙂

With DLSS4, do you have the option to select High Quality? I don’t see it in the settings.

No. I can't remember when this option disappeared - maybe it was with MSFS2024? It happened well before DLSS4 I think.

Thank you. Then I should be good. I am not seeing the performance boost.

Maybe you need the pre-release driver to get the boost? I’m not up to date on this stuff…

This is with the new DLSS Swapper.

Is this correct as far as DLSS Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction?

Thanks

3.7.20 and Preset F with scaling 0.85x in NV Inspector

Working in 2020 and 2024

Hi Guys:

I'm not seeing the watermark in corner of screen - why would that be not sure its even working - isn't the watermark dead give away DLSS 4 is working ?

I wonder how they implement this, since NVIDIA App does not change .dll files in games. Isn't this supposed to be a "workaround" for older games that don't support DLSS by default? I think they will update games to the latest dlss, like they did with Cyberpunk. So your installation method will work until the games get updates via patches.

I have experienced a very modest improvement in performance as well as a slight improvement in the quality of the terrain unless it’s all a placebo effect. Too early to say, but my preliminary assessment is that this was a good update overall. I’ll update again on the 30th via the official Nvidia driver.

You can add a. It of extra crispness to the visuals using the ‘texture details’ slider on Sharpen+ on Nvidia overlay. I have my intensity slider well down at 4, but textures at 14. It’s like having 4K on a 1440 panel.

no, you only have the DLSS4 super resolution DLL, you obviously have not installed the FrameGen DLL of DLLS4, there are 3 new DLLs all version 310.1.0.0, as mentioned further above in this thread and the download links in the Islandsim youtubes.

yes, the new driver and DLSS4 are fantastic. even in VR @ 8K resolution I typically get 45-55 fps which is big considering there is no FrameGen in VR. 😂

yes I know, no EGLL, BATC, 777, Fenix and what have you, but who needs that anyway. 😃

Not sure I know what this is it. Is it in the Nvidia app?
