DLSS 4 DLL's

No, you don't except if you manually modify a Registry entry.

Quote

Regedit Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore and add  or modify "ShowDlssIndicator" DWORD (32 bits) with 400 (hexadecimal) or 1024 (decimal)

Oh my, the ground textures are massively improved!  Couple of videos below, both using SU1 Beta, DLSS 4 Quality & DLAA.  Those who like a sharp image - get now! First is south East of San Die

Of course I did NOT modify any registry. Well, it is not in MSFS, but in Jedi Survivor. Seems this game does not get along with DLSS4 atm. Drawback of having to set the global profile to Preset J...

Apparently if using the beta, the DLSS 4 DLL’s are remove each time you start the sim and it reverts back to the ones that come with it…

This was someone over official forums:-

“It seems it doesn’t like the new DLSS 4 files from Cyberpunk. When you install the beta, it reverts back to 3.7.20.0 DLSS version.

When I copy the new DLSS files, the game restarts the updating process and reverts back to old DLSS.”

@MrBitstFlyer since you’re on SU1 beta, did you notice this?

I checked with DLSS Swapper that reports DLSS 4 after restarting the SIM.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Oh mama, now I’ve got this set up properly, yeah, I can see why people are so positive about this. Jeeeeezus, the performance and image quality (using quality in sim AA) is incredible. Textures crisper than a Saville Row trouser.

Also available through the DLSS Swapper app (which is able to find both the Steam and MS Store versions for me, across 2020 and 2024).

DLSS4 DLL version is 310.1, last DLSS3 version is 3.8.10.

At my DLSS Swapper library the newest is still 3.8.10

no, only after installing the beta for the first time, not during subsequent game starts. see top left and bottom Nvidia readouts. even though it shows as DLSS v3 - 310.1.0, which is the latest DLSS version, might be due to its DLSS beta status.

very nice.

Using 310.1.0 and Preset J or Preset F did nothing to improve the blurry glass gauges when using QUALTY in 2024. I did notice a significantly improvement in terms of glass displays and blurred readings when using DLAA, however performance went through the floor - Almost doubled the GPU ms timing.
