Tried DLSS-DLAA which wasn’t bad to be sure but I find TAA to be still much crisper. I’m on a 4090 for reference. I’m with @Richard Sennett , gonna roll back to 566.36 and just get on with it set at TAA. I think people should try each setting for themselves for the best quality. On my PC, DLSS 4 with DLAA is amazing crisp and it is now my default. I am seeing a noticeable improvement with glass cockpits with DLSS 4 & DLAA. Just finished a flight with the Cows DA-40 and virtually no blurring at all on the glass screens. Very frustrating when we all have different experiences, but I wouldn't recommend not trying it because somebody else was not impressed. Mike It should be 🙂 It's what I've been doing with previous DLSS versions. I guess the tricky thing this time around was to understand which inspector setting to change, as the naming of the settings have not exactly been intuitive. I used Ian's method this time around, where he mentioned that replacing the .dll files is not required. EDIT: Btw, I don't have the nvidia app (don't like it). Also I don't have GeForce experience (don't need it, don't use the filters). I'm happy that we can still use nvidia control panel. February 2, 20251 yr So, without installing the Nvidia app, the way is, DLSS Swapper, and the Nvidia inspector settings in the first post, done?. In VR, FS24 DLSS and in performance setting, TAA is unbearable, in FS20 TAA with 100% resolution, no one DLSS setting can beat that for me in overall, clarity and smoothness. And screens blurry still and ghosting sometimes in both Sims with DLSS, if I did the things well installing the las DLSS with Swapper and the settings in Nvidiainspector. Though DLSS in FS24 is doing a good work a bit better than TAA (TAA is stuttery), DLSS wins less still also in the glass displays and ghosting, in FS20 not, TAA 100% is better, weird? The Fenix cockpit seems to be worse, as was demonstrated in this video: I still think, that despite the ghosting (which I understand can be a deal-breaker), the overall image quality is better with DLSS+DLAA vs TAA. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

And yes me too, I don´t want those apps and Nvidia Control panel is more than enough. Edited February 2, 20251 yr by peloto

This is the confusing part. Previously we had to use swapper (or replace the files manually). Apparently, with the latest driver, this is not needed. Perhaps @TENPATROL can verify this. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Easy Peasy: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/663476-dlss4-using-the-kiss-method-in-2020/ This will work in 2024 as well and you don't need to use the latest driver which has issues for some for certain. If you have the latest driver and don’t want to swap files manually or use NVIDIA app, then by following my guide, you will always have the latest DLSS 4 – game files are not replaced.
