What is with the landing gear sound? It seems very loud and NOT like a gear? Want to make sure its not just me. Also after disconnecting the AP and press reset on alarm why does the tone continue?

The gear is loud because the nose gear is set far forward. You are sitting on top of the bay in the cockpit. Its apparently accurate. Not being a 350 pilot, I cant comment!

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

anyone with a bug with the beacon switch put on removing the GPU?

Not a bug, it will auto disconnect GPU when beacon is put to on

And I can't seem to get the enroute charts to work, even though I linked my Navigraph account.

Known issue, guess it will be fixed shortly. they are aware of it on their Discord

I’ve took it for a spin in 2020 and performance is excellent. Very similar to the Fenix if not slightly better. Get circa 90fps on the ground. FG On, 5800X3D and 4080. I have 2024 as well but I have only just set that up earlier this week so still fine tuning there. I tried the A350 in 2024 as well and performance seemed fine but was only a quick load in test

On my third flight of the day in the A350. One in FS2020 and two in FS2024. So far the only problem I have had is with Navigraph charts not appearing on the OIS.

It runs well on my antique system (RTX2027 Super gfx card) with frame rates as per other addon aircraft that I use. (By well I mean circa 30fps)

I have not even scratched the surface of the systems yet. I'm absolutely delighted with it. A superb rendition of the 350 by IniBuilds.

Everything sets up nicely but again the problem is with the FMS. After INIT then trying to load the F-PLN it freezes. Have to boot out.

Which sim? And do you use the Navigraph Airac?

I'm curious as to why ini would choose not to include the missing bits in the 2020 version. Performance concerns?

Yes. 2024 has a new LOD system that allows for complex cabins.  2020 does not have that so my guess is it is purely for performance 2020 gets less.

So I understand the whole avionics bay and crew rest area but don't understand why the rest of the cabin couldn't be included in the 2020 version unless and I am speculating here is is one model in 2024 and two models, one for the exterior and one for the interior in 2024.  Otherwise, we've already had moving curtains, toilets, full cabins, interiors tied to liveries in 2020 so not sure why they couldn't include "any" cabin...

Agreed.  I’m just now starting up my 2020 copy having spent most of the morning learning and flying this bird in 2024.  I may have an informed POV after, we shall see.

considering the "most advanced sim aircraft ever", was just released on "the best sim platform ever", this place is spookily quiet - am I the only one not flying it?

Im skipping it for now, some very neat features for sure, I wonder how deep the systems are actually modelled though, one thing i noticed early on is it still has the same issue that all of their aircraft have, the engines spool up way too fast from ground idle.  I really need fenix level of detail systems wise to be interested, airbus aircraft bore me in the sim.  Its like flying a computer within a computer even in manual flight.

Yes.

AVSIM is in no way shape or form representative of the sim community at large.

Just one look at the online networks would have told you the story. I mean it's like with all the big releases, that for the first days after release VATSIM and IVAO seem to be overfilled with the particular aircraft just released.

Like everybody and their dog was flying the 777 or the A380 when they were released we are now again seing a complete overflow of A350 traffic.

Here's my 2 cents after I finished my 1st flight from Abu Dhabi to Nairobi.

The aircraft looks awesome as we've come to expect from anything iniBuilds. I liked the sounds as well.

Performance is not bad - but perhaps not as good as the Fenix. I didn't use any ATC addons or AI traffic for this flight - and FPS headroom was a bit marginal for smooth performance on the ground at HKJK when deboarding the aircraft using GSX. I need to test it more - but I got the impression that the headroom would be a bit tight to be able to add Beyond ATC or FSHud into the mix.

I didn't encounter any obvious bugs while operating the aircraft. Although I was not familiar with the A350 cockpit layout before this flight (EFB, OIS, FMC), it's fairly intuitive to operate (I'm very familiar with the A32x). With a bit of help from 320 Sim Pilot, I was ready for pushback relatively quickly.

Fuel consumption was around 1000kg more than the Simbrief estimate. 4x time compression worked great with auto step climb and pause at TOD.

It's a different experience handflying this aircraft compared to anything else I've tried in MSFS. I thought the aircraft reacted precisely to the sidestick inputs, while still having that "heavy" feel with a bit of inertia. It's difficult to explain. Landing was not tricky - just a gentle flare and she settled very nicely on the runway. I love the BTV feature - although I had to resort to the 124-page manual to figure out how to choose an exit.

Handling the aircraft on the ground seemed reasonable, with the rudder pedals set to control the tiller (and auto tiller disco enabled). Calibrating my throttle quadrant was nice and easy, using reverse thrust and the various detents on my TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition.

Simbrief and Navigraph integration worked flawlessly - I had no issues accessing various Navigraph charts on the EFB.

Here's a quick CapFrameX performance capture from just before touchdown until vacating the runway - a great result:

(I had locked FPS to 62 using RTSS - and I was using AutoFPS with a TLOD Min of 50)

My overall first impression is that it seems like an excellent aircraft that I'll surely be flying a lot in the coming weeks and months. I was actually positively surprised - I expected more issues at launch - having some experience with the other iniBuilds aircraft for MSFS.

7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Weird question but keen to know before buying - Is it possible adjust the pilot seats position (like the slider in the Fenix/FBW) or make them disappear (like the PMDG 737)?

having never flown an airbus i was expecting to find it needing a bit of a learning curve. ive done 3 flights so far and disconnected the gpu twice cos of the beacon, i wont fall for that again! beautiful looking inside and out. performance has been very good so far, using auto_fps. 3 flights and 3 landings between 96-133fpm disconnecting a\p at 2.5 miles. surprised me, was expecting to bin it in to the runway lol. thought i had a bug with navigraph charts just showing black screen, but after cycling through the button at the bottom right of the ois, ifr, vfr, night, day etc, it showed and worked perfectly. btv is also pretty cool. so much to learn, but i enjoyed all 3 flights immensely so far. although (and this is going to be my own airbus inexperience, im not sure what im doing with the descent, open and managed), the vsd wanted me to descend at 80 miles from 40000 feet. instead i just started descent working on the 3 miles to 1000 feet rule.

Beautiful Aircraft but only took it up for a bit - the thing that stood out to me was the sounds - they sound very nice - immersive

Yes Navigraph and as noted earlier in my original posting 24. I haven't had a flight yet.
