I wonder if this 182 version has this bug fixed.. Answering my own question.. It turns out to be a bug in the WT GNS530. The simvar that indicates a flight plan is active, and which is being used to hide the NAV flag, gets turned off when an Approach is activated. The 2024 C172 displays the same problem, and the bug has been reported to WT. Bert

May I ask, have you bought for 2020, and it works? Regards Yes, I bought the 2020 version as well. The 2020 version seems to have a bug with the ADF, as noted above. If you don't set a nearby frequency at all, the needle doesn't move. Once you select a nearby frequency, the needle will continuously turn in the direction the plane is turning and continues to turn slowly. And I had a hard time reading the frequency, as if the font was too big. I reported the issue to Carenado. Waiting to hear back from them. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

Many thanks for your prompt reply, and for the info on the ADF bug. I'm off to Marketplace now, as I want this aircraft. My family gave me an 80th Birthday Present a few years ago, of a trial flight in a Cessna. I can now relive the experience🙂 Regards andy a

I have been very anxious for this 182 for a long time. Back in the 1980's I used to fly a Cessna 182P, which is extremely close to the Q model, so when Carenado released it in FSX, I was extremely happy. Now I can continue flying the Q model in 2020 ans 2024. I had been flying the T182 and 182RG, but they just aren't the same. Now if I can just find someone to paint it for me as N85988, then I'll be in 7th heaven. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

I was so happy to finally be able to fly the same plane I was flying in real world. I repainted it myself, changed all of the avionics, replaced several other gauges, and added a new sound package. It made it feel like it was MY plane. It is so much harder now to do all those mods to any plane in MSFS 2020/2024. You would think that as the simulators advanced, it would get easier to do these mods, not harder. I'll put my request for the repaint on flightsim.to and hope someone does it for me. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

I'm in awe of your talents in changing things in the Carenado to transform it to "My plane". My first sim wasMSFS2000, and I had never used a pc before, so everything was a very steep learning curve...but I enjoy a challenge, within reason. andy a
April 23, 20251 yr I've got the 2024 version and I really like it for my low and slow flying. The only bug I've noticed is that the magneto switch works backwards. Also, I'd like to know where I would go to download any updates to fix the things that have been reported. Thanks, Roy i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive

If you see bugs, even if you think someone else reported them, please submit a ticket through Carenado's main website to report it. For those that reported other issues, has Carenado acknowledged them?

April 23, 20251 yr Looks like they are getting ready to release another Bonanza 🙃 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
April 23, 20251 yr I would expect based on historical trends to see the next patch for this 182Q by late May, likely after they finish with the 2024 F33 Bonanza (and assuming there will be a 2020 version a month or two after that).
