I think Sam Scenes have exclude polygons to avoid conflicts with existing photogrammetry, so I wouldn't expect any issues by using them. April 22, 20251 yr This is why I hate to update anything on my flight sim. Here is what they did to KDEN on the ramp I just uninstalled the City update, and back to normal at KDEN. Edited April 22, 20251 yr by Bobsk8

April 22, 20251 yr There's definitely something wrong with MSFS 2024. I still see some blurry textures in Dallas. I don't see a get WU10 in the marketplace. Plus, loading times where much longer at KDFW. MSFS 2020 went smoothly. MSFS
April 22, 20251 yr Anyone know if the cities update fix’s the KDFW blurred runway and taxiway textures. Also DFW can be a FPS hit when looking certain directions. Currently I remove the fs-base-coverage-map-us2-tin file to fix the problem. Currently I remove the fs-base-coverage-map-us2-tin file to fix the problem. For 2020, I also have the bin removed. No issues with fps. For 2024, takes longer to load airport and fps do suffer when panning. I see blurred texture but I do not have the bin folder removed. The stream "fs24-fs-base-coverage-map-us2-tin" is still in the folder. I did not touch it. MSFS
April 22, 20251 yr Just saw this posted on FB "Support Update We can confirm that there is an issue in City Update 10 with Dallas and Honolulu not having the updated TIN (photogrammetry) data in the current live build of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. We are working towards a resolution targeted for tomorrow. Other TIN cities included in the City Update are displaying properly. Players on Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and participating in the 2024 Sim Update 2 beta are not affected by this issue."

Sod it, I've spent the last 2 hours trying to work out why Dallas and Hawaii are not showing any photogrammetry. Rebooting, restarting msfs2024, deleting addon scenery, deleting and re enabling CU10, turning PG off and back on, checking bandwidth, delting caches, etc, etc. Can MS/Asobo not get anything right? MSFS has been a bloody shambles fron the start and it doesn't seem to get any better. The number of hours I've spent trying to fix problems that are unfixable because MS/Asobo have screwed up yet again is beyond belief. As a diehard simmer, I go through the pain lije many of you, but the more casual gamer will have got fed up with this and junked it long ago. Jorg and his team must really start to get their act together as the sim must be coming and embarrassment to them. This confirms why Hawaii did not look very good and there are still blurred textures in the Dallas region. MSFS
