Always preferred the F33/V35/Baby Baron style panel to the newer A36s and Barons. Part of it is nostalgia, I admit, but it's also a practical thing. I've always found the "turbine style" engine gauges of the newer panel harder to see than the nice, big, clear older ones. Makes power adjustments so much easier. That said, since I'm still in 2020 and just don't think I can do the Carenado thing anymore anyway, I'm sticking to the Black Square analogue A36 and hoping their new "Professional" series releases soon. I'm a lot more judicious about airplane buying since moving to MSFS than I was back in my FSX/P3D days and Black Square makes planes that I know I'll keep flying and flying, rather than buying and parking and buying and parking. The A36 has a more compact arrangement which I think I would prefer if this was my RW aircraft.. 😉 Bert

You probably can't say anything either way, but if you can give any indication, I am kind of lost as to why there are numerous aircraft by this awesome dev but seems like no hints of what is coming out and when. Just so eager to get the c208 pro and, well, all of them in 2024 again. Wish the dev was a bit more vocal about specific progress with the different aircraft and even broad estimates of release dates (? Summer ? Fall) AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

I guess that, like my plane buying, I've become more judicious in my posting since returning to simming. And yes, I am SO looking forward to the Pro series. An updated Bonanza at the level of the more recent offerings, good as the current analogue Bo is, is greatly anticipated. In the meantime, following my new philosophy of focusing on a single plane for extended flying, I'm currently enjoying building hours in the Grand Duke. A lot! BTW, currently using one of your beautiful paints (N181BD) so thanks for that! Scott

Considering every plane I've bought was riddle with bugs, hardly updated and not remotely enticing. Slightly better function over default planes, if that. BlackSquare, worth every penny. It would be best to stop giving developers money that hardly update their planes(carenado, nextgen simulations, etc). 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
May 5, 20251 yr unfortunately I have to agree with you. and I have been a loyal Carenado customer for the last 3 decades. if they can't be bothered to fix the extreme over bright backlight in their GNS gps in the default Cessna 404 Titan, I am not going to spend a single dime on additional Carenados, that ship with new bugs from day one, right from the factory. if and when they'll ever fix even such minor issues is anybody's guess. Ever since I saw a whole lineup of dukes during a conference in Duluth (when I worked at the tower), I couldn't stop loving them hehe. My all time favorite GA is the Lancair Legacy. Can't wait for FSW's rendition. Rumor has it there will be analog version along with the G3x version. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 5, 20251 yr My thoughts on it are.... It flies well,it's a GA plane I'm not sure what features people really want from it. It handles like a Bonanza, looks like a Bonanza etc. No it doesn't have spark plug fouling,or a bunch of customization options but you can get out and preflight it check the fuel, oil etc.... Personally I find the simulation of fouled plugs and engine wear/damage to be way over done in sims. Like seriously I've been flying for 24 years and have 6000+ hrs and I've had one engine failure and fouled plugs maybe 15 times usually because a student didnt lean the mixture properly on a hot day...Engine wear is measured over thousands of hours in operation and I've seen engines that were absolutely thrashed go well beyond TBO and babied engine sling a rod at 200hrs. Meanwhile in sim if you run an engine 1 inch to far boom it comes apart after 5 minutes. Personally I can deal without the headaches of that. Edited May 5, 20251 yr by z06z33 ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. A bug or pilot error? Bert
