The plane cockpit textures are actually very nice but the Performance is horrible for no reason. I have RTX 5090 and I9 14900K and its very heavy on performance. The engine sounds need a lot of work. Could not start the APU, Captain FMS flickering, etc... Hopefully it will be improved upon.

It's only $120 for all those models if they actually get released.  All you can guarantee right now for that $120 is one model and so at the moment it has to be judged that way.

There was a good response to these reports by a cybersec guy who did a quick analysis. It seems more a case of lazy installer packaging (i.e., using a lot of default settings and no signed certificate

  • I don't know what is going on with these developers these days. Another early release with numerous bugs and an extremely high price ($120 to own it), which is beyond belief.

Seems like that's a problem for others. Cheww94 abandoned his stream because of poor performance.

747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

The aircraft should be on point for that price, the devs might not last long if they don't sort things fast.

Important to remember that it's $120 for -300, -400 and -500 variants, with cargo, combi and pax included. Also included are various cockpit modifications you commonly see across the type.
If you put it that way, it's actually cheaper than PMDG's 737 range.

Right now this initial release is just the -500 pax, but more will come down the line.

I'm holding off until they patch up the various bugs and improve things, then pick it up.

I downloaded the installer and installed it, but it doesn't work. all I get is a frozen screen.

@everyone We didn't expect there to be so many people buying the 737 within the first few minutes!
We have 5 different servers across the world but they are running at near maximum load. If you're encountering any errors with the launcher, may we suggest you try again a bit later!
Thank you!

Surprised this new airliner thread barely has any traction here at avsim.  Usually you people are hyped about boring airliners!

That’s because it didn’t have “Just Flight” in the title. Unfortunately.

Interested to see what the reports are when folks get up and running. But geez this sounds like a botched release much like the poorly executed first impression livestream. Hoping it will be good but it feels like they really need some organization and experienced person to be the public facing side who can handle rollout and launch while they do the coding. Skills in one area don't always translate. Lots of frustrated people on the discord who have been waiting hours since paying and some not even getting an email confirmation of payment yet. I'm sure it's legit and just backlogged but shouldn't there have been a Plan B in case the servers get swamped that you could immediately bring a whole lot more online?

I will be tracking this plane closely.  When the other variants are created and they improve it more I might bite.

One thing that kind of turns me off is I see no information if they plan to make a winglet model?  The 300 and 500 was certified for them and towards the end a fair number had them installed.  The classics were darn sharp looking with winglets!

It's supposedly going to be a definitive 737 Classic package with multiple variants but no winglets?  I hope it comes in a future update!
