Do you have a habit of going to your local grocery store and expecting discounts just because you go there all the time? It seems that you are mixing "habits"...funny how some people are using that term for everything. But obviously it is pointless discussing with you. Not in grocery store...but for everything else it is offered. Not sure where you live. But bananas are not the same as phone supplier or software supplier or every other "supplier" for our hobby. Maybe you missed it. And yes.. because FSL goofed up with timing I was expecting that...No difference with ORBX or HIFI who basically offered loyalty discounts for P3D users.... If you are not sure you should skip the comment. Edited June 26, 2025Jun 26 by cyyzrwy24 Alex

June 26, 2025Jun 26 Had a gps 1 fault followed by ads-b fault. I thought jamming and checked the QRH to see what they offered. Luckily didn't need to press any circuit breakers since it cleared.

CAB lights up and I answer and Norman tells me they caught some guy in the lav smoking. Now that was a first! Good stuff… this is quite a common issue on the a380 in the rw. The smoke detectors go off when you spray deodorant. Cabin crew mate of mine was working on the 380 last year (at a well known airline) when it went off (2 hours into a 13 hour flight), they reset it in the LAV and on the FAP but forgot to call the flight crew advise them to not worry about the ecam warning. The skipper waited 5 mins for the call (that never came) them called the CSD and told them to stand down in flight the three crew members (on that sector and the one home) involved in the smoke lav warning. (fire fighter, communicator, monitor). The flight then continued for 11 or so hours with 3 crew down and the other 19 crew had to suffer with 3 crew down on both that sector and the sector home, purely because they forgot to call the skipper, a simple hindsight mistake. As the whole thing was a 2 min issue at most. The 3 crew had a tea and no biscuits meeting after the event and were then suspended for 2 weeks or so. The over zealous skipper, nothing at all. and people wonder why i dislike pilots..... Edited June 27, 2025Jun 27 by fluffyflops

You stick to procedure at all time for the sake of safety. Trust me my old company told us to do toilet checks and make sure flight deck were fine every 15-30minutes. Practically this just doesn’t happen. Our policy was not to have the ovens on when parked, captain got snotty with me because I followed procedure but hey, rules often get broken.
