To be fair, it's a $30 plane and I haven't heard of a single thing that it does that the default Longitude doesn't simulate. What makes this special?

Does not seem fair as you have not yet seen or experienced it.

The Longitude does many of the things that the CL650 does, it just doesn't have study screens to show how the sausage is made. For example, the hydraulics system uses a physics based flow system

That's why I'm asking! There's basically zero info about this plane.

Visually (v2) the original textures were pretty bad (at best), when they updated them they improved a little, but were never up to Carenado standards - then again that is the one thing that Carenado were good at for the time. However, the ESDG version, unlike anything Carenado ever made, actually had decent systems - hence how it got looked at as high end. There was no business jet in it's league systems wise at the time until WT in MSFS .. .. (or HotStart in XP).

Exactly. Ron from Eaglesoft admitted that they were severely lacking in the graphics department. Eaglesoft promised to "spruce" up the visuals. But that didn't really happen. It was always about the systems - which were very decent and the plane flew nicely.

It simulates a C750, the default Longitude doesn't.

Funny, argument to make, it's a completely different aircraft with completely different avionics, from a completely different era.

If it was the X+ then you could make that point, but it's not.

It is the debut aircraft in our “Marketplace Exclusive Series,” and is available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace for its lifetime. The sky is calling!
