FlightFX C750 (Citation X)--Pre-release discussion

Wow, what an excellent 2 months for MSFS. First the FSLabs A320 Neo and Blacksquare Starship release this month. Then next month, the A2A Aerostar releases for early access. Now this FlightFX C750 releases in July too. It feels like many 3rd party developer projects are being released for MSFS recently, it shows the MSFS 3rd party developer scene is so strong!

The Longitude does many of the things that the CL650 does, it just doesn't have study screens to show how the sausage is made. For example, the hydraulics system uses a physics based flow system

It's going to be an expensive July!

To me this will come down to how this plane plays with home cockpit hardware. It would be a shame if we can’t use a cdu to display the planes cdu etc

Hey that is my birthday. I may just give this a shot.

On their website it says coming soon to MSFS 2020, nothing about MSFS 2024 is that correct?

I’ve uninstalled FS2020 and I’m FS2024 all in so when will it be ready the FS24 then???

Regards

It’s finally happening. Our friends at FlightFX have some big news regarding their highly-anticipated C750!

After countless late nights, endless reworks, a few “are we there yet?” moments, and more caffeine than any doctor would recommend—the C750 is ready for takeoff on July 10. This long-awaited project will be launching exclusively in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace for both the 2020 and 2024 versions of the sim. It’s been a long road for the team, and they sincerely appreciate the patience and support from this community.

Thanks St Mawgan for the heads up. much appreciated.

Yawn, not seeing anything interesting here. We already have the Citation Longitude.

Give me a Falcon 8X (range 6,000 miles +), and I'll be interested.

cockpit is TOTALLY different than a longitude.  I personally prefer the "not too new" generation.

The other thing I'm wondering is if this will require separate purchases for 2020 and 2024.  I always thought one of the handful of marketplace limitations was that they cannot include at no charge for 2020 if you buy for 2024.  But perhaps wrong on that.

They say you will get both, no matter if you purchase in 2020 or 2024. No mention of any limitations to that.

The X is also quite a bit faster than the Longitude, M.92 at FL370, and it can reach FL510. For a long time it was the fastest civilian jet right behind Concorde. Very excited about this one, it has been a long time coming.

Been watching this for awhile, I think it's going to be really good! Can't wait to try it, day one for me!
