That's so 10 years ago. With today's MSFS v2024, there's no reason to download anything. We buy and stream. The truth is, we don't own any of this software. We are just licensed users, or whatever they want to call it.Last night I bought the PMDG 737-700 upgrade and it was such a PITA to install. But it was only $30, so I just did it!As for ORBX, I still have their AU DVD that I paid $99 for just one region. I was a customer for long time.I don't stream anything, not one bit or byte. I like downloading and installing them and I have more than plenty of SSD space. Jack Sawyer

None. Never. Until your once reliable internet connection goes south for 7 days, then NO SIM FOR YOU! YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies Jack and btw the Luddite handle was sarcasm. You’re no Luddite as is evident by your frequent presence here😇😇😇-B

It sucks for the developers, it sucks for the customers.Piracy is not a lost sale because pirates have no intention of purchasing the product in the first place. Ultimately all this does is add hurdles to paying customers. It's not going to increase sales because pirates aren't going to suddenly buy the product. In the end this'll get cracked and you'll have pirates with a better experience than paying customers just like we've seen countless times with Denuvo and many other DRM implementations.

The web page indicates it is not their DRM and you have to contact Land3 Simulations for drm issues. So now you have Orbx to buy and install. The developer to contact if there is a problem, unless it is a drm issue contact Land3. Joe Lorenc

I do have a problem when developers make it unnecessarily awkward to install and activate them.
