May 31May 31 Has anyone experienced any issues while flying the ini A350? When I was parked at the gate, sometime later the screen went black, and the game said that I crashed. Marco D'Agostino
May 31May 31 SU5 is hard on everyone's system (well maybe not everyone) but the people I talk to often. We need to get back performance on the Asobo side first.I'm not surprised the scenery is demanding... but you add that on top of a payware aircraft, weather, AI traffic etc... and what do you expect? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 31May 31 OK i take back what I said.Im getting a lot of studdering now and a worning im running out of VRAM? I have a 4090? When I booted it up it seemed fine but now that Im coming from another airport the performance is pretty bad. May 31May 31 4090 has 32GB Vram, right?I have both stuttering and Vram warnings. However, I must say that that on average CPU usage for my card (my sig) never exceeds 75-80%. Occasional, but frequent stutters that generate GPU spikes close to 100% in turn generate VRAM warnings. Hence, I guess it's a complex issues and perhaps even 5090 won't help, but I would be happy to read the reviews. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

May 31May 31 The apron lights seem very dim to me. Nothing like the preview pictures. One terminal is very bright but all of the others are very dark...
May 31May 31 Getting VRAM warnings with GPUs that have 24GB+ VRAM is bizarre to me. I have 12GB, and only the most super dense scenery areas (with detailed payware airports and the PMDG 737/777) result in anything like that. I appreciate that I am not running really complex weather or animated AI planes, but I guess that 1920x1080 resolution on a 24" monitor has its benefits Edited May 31May 31 by Christopher Low Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

May 31May 31 the fact that the developer has to give ideal settings, means it's too heavy. I skip. looks good but I want to land or taxi normally. Sunday at 07:28 AM5 days To be fair, those "ideal" settings for a "good PC" look pretty high. I am so tempted to buy this airport, if for no other reason than to see just how well it performs on my PC. I see others struggle at certain airports with systems that have at least twice as much VRAM as I have, and I suspect that it has more to do with photogrammetry than anything else. With PG disabled, I already have a significant saving on power requirements compared to (based on accurate statistical data ) 75% of the player base. Never forget eye candy sells copies, good performance does not. Edited Sunday at 08:07 AM5 days by fluffyflops

Its a different market now, (even if people back in the old days were locking at frames at 10 to get cool screenshots) Edited Sunday at 08:20 AM5 days by fluffyflops

It has too many flaws. I much prefer the "clean" look of autogen only scenery. I get that some city skylines may not look as convincing with PG off, but frankly I have not experienced all that much of a problem in the locations where I fly. I have VFR Landmarks packages for London (which more than satisfies me), Dublin, Amsterdam, and Athens. However, I do not have any packages at all for cities like Brussels, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nice, Toulouse, Genoa, Zurich, Geneva, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow.........the list goes on and on.......and not once have I looked down and thought "that is rubbish". At the height that I pass over them when on final approach, I am more than happy with how they look........and I am not the only person who thinks so.With respect to Atlanta, has anyone here tested this with PG off? I would be interested to know if there are any serious problems. I have not visited a single payware airport to date that is unusable with PG off, although one or two have some minor issues.
