Not to mention a stimulating chat with a wise being that has visited your shores and seen steam erupting from the ground in Rotorua and seen clouds hovering below him up Mt Cooke.

Hope you get second thoughts Matthew.  I've had some of my posts erased and everything I write here has to be approved by the moderators before it is released.  I probably deserve that but it doesn't keep me from participating.  You and Martin and the rest here are friends and this is the only place we can gather and visit and talk to each other.  Please reconsider.

No posts are deleted. They’re hidden if deemed necessary. The HC area is pretty easy going but for whatever reason your post was hidden.

That's too bad.  I like most of your posts and agree with you on many issues.  You seem like a genuine, nice fellow.  I hope you reconsider.

As for the deleted posts, well, I have a lot of experience with that here.  Some of it was deserved, but some wasn't.  It's OK to have disagreements and debates.  We're all still forum friends even when we disagree or argue.

If a deleted post really bothers you, I encourage you to send a PM to the management folks involved and try to resolve the issue, or at a minimum express your grievances to them.

Censorship is disgusting. If your remarks are utterly offensive and disgusting to me I'll still stand up for your right to have your views heard anyway and stand apposed to anyone who puts themselves in the way of me hearing what you have to say about anything. And reel against anyone who thinks they know what is better for me than I know myself and decides that they will protect me from what you have to say. Who do they think they are? I agree RIP Tom Allensworth but AVSIM is in this regard the way he wanted it to be. I say if you are triggered and you are looking for the culprit take a good look in the mirror! The snowflakes are the problem!
