March 2Mar 2 Forgive not replying to all individually. The ones by me I recommend are: Weather: AB MSFS 2024 Date: 02/16/2026 Atmos: AB MSFS 2024 v2 Date: 02/19/2026 Enviro: AB MSFS 2024 v2 Date: 02/05/2026 I am still undecided with the weather one. The Weather Impact Scale and Mode Sliders definitely produce more realistic looking clouds with the values in my preset 95% of the time, however, sometimes they still look bad, I will then reset these two sliders to default and see if the default looks better. If it does I stick with the default until it gets bad again and then I reload the preset (or just manually move the sliders to 102 and 2). The two sliders on the right, Visual Cloud Enhancement and Cloud Luminance, can produce some stunning vistas at times, but also as @AnkH mentions, sometimes can produce a weird glow. I am contemplating just putting these back to default. Until Asobo sort out the mess that is the cloud rendering I am certain this is as good as can be achieved. Edited March 2Mar 2 by abennett
March 10Mar 10 Quick question for Andrew, Just purchased Atmos Core (was using Atmos in 2020, but am not on 2024). On the Home Page the Top 5 Sets lists AB MSFS (Atmospheric Set - Andrew Bennett), AB MSFS (Weather Set - Andrew Bennet) and AB MSFS (Enviro Set - Andrew Bennet). I can select these using the magnifying glass, but there is no way of setting them to favourite or Auto load. When I go into the Amos/Enviro/Weather tabs at the bottom, you can search for sets. I search AB MSFS and it lists lots of sets with a similar name although it doesn't show who the author is. I am then able to favourite and auto load them, but they are different to the ones on the Top 5 Sets. ie. when I press them, the sky changes etc. Is there anyway of saving the sets in the Top 5 list on the homepage to favourites and auto load them?

Hello Go to each item, bottom of the programm, example click weather then click search public only set, then search for your favorite preset AB you can add it to.favorite. each time you start RCA it will charge the save favorite set. Do the same for atmos and enviro Be carefull to not have more set in favorite for each thème because the program can load a different favorite that you want have. Frédéric Giraud
March 10Mar 10 Thanks, I had figured out how to add favourites, but the AB profiles which are listed in the top 5 seem to be different from the AB profiles you can search. is there a way of adding one of the top 5 profiles to favourites?
March 10Mar 10 You can have as many favourites as you want, doesnt matter if you use the autoload option. And this option can only be activated for one weather, one environment and one atmospheric profile at once. March 13Mar 13 Quick question. I’m using the AB 2024 v2 presets in Atmos Core, and am getting very hazy conditions (especially at the horizon). I have had about 10 flights all around Europe in the last few days as it is always the same. If the live weather changes, will I ever get clearer conditions, or is it down to the preset?
March 14Mar 14 Same experience to me. I'm using the sets since months and i loved the atmospheric coulor. But the hazy conditions are often to much. I tried to reduce it, but i didn't find the correct slider. I hope that Abenett has a tip to reduce the haze, without changing the rest. Joachim Regards Joachim

Joachim Yes, this completely washes out the nice default effect of Rayleigh scattering in the distance. Seems like we have to accept one or the other. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I find these 3 combined to be much better. Search just as the name below reads. I am on MS2024. Weather - "Lupo v1" Atmos - "Lupo Ultra Realism - ATMOS" Enviro - "Lupo Ultra Realism - ENVIRO" I second that, let's not reduce Atmos to what the AB presets look like (and they do look very nice), there are alternatives that are different. I can recommend Lupo as well (who IMO made the best Atmos presets for 2020)
March 14Mar 14 Question... I use Atmos Core and Active sky but have always tuned the weather in Atmos core off. Does it enhance Active Sky or cause issues with weather when running both? March 14Mar 14 I have a quick question on Rex Atmos that really doesn't warrant its own thread.. You start a flight and then Rex Atmos..choose your presets or change the sliders yourself..save it..then exit Rex Atmos..the settings are persistent from then on? Thanks!
