......feels like trying to wade through treacle at times. I just do not understand why it takes so long to correct issues that should never have been there in the first place.

• IniBuilds LOWI Innsbruck - misaligned runway centreline markings and displaced threshold arrows that have (apparently) been corrected in MSFS 2024, but no sign of a similar fix for MSFS 2020 
• IniBuilds EGHI Southampton - misaligned runway centreline markings and displaced threshold arrows. They seem to think that this has been corrected, but that is certainly not the case in MSFS 2020 
• IniBuilds EGLL London Heathrow - misaligned runway centreline markings..........is anyone seeing a pattern here?
• MK Studios LEGE Girona Costa Brava - misaligned runway centreline markings. An update was released last month, but I am extremely disappointed to see that this issue has not been corrected (even though I reported it months ago).
• MK Studios EIKY Kerry - very sloppy taxiway line between the apron and the runway.
• FlyTampa EHAM Amsterdam Schiphol - floating lights on the taxiway Alpha bridge over the motorway.

Add the fact that I have to calibrate my joystick over and over again because the steering of my PMDG planes switches from "airliner" to "shopping trolley" on a regular basis, and you may begin to see how my flight simulation endeavours can quickly change from sublime to ridiculous 

 

Ive been saying for over a decade, as a community we have embraced and quite happily accepted half baked junk and pay to beta with our wallets, so  in return the Devs have responded in kind and given us half baked junk and pay to beta. Wether that be aerosoft, inbuilds or orbxs

Don't blame the Devs there just in it to make money , you blame the community that let it happen by giving them the money and the carte blance to do it

You may as well make peace with the fact that it will likely never be fixed... Some Developers like LatinVFR have given up on scenery creation all together (tho cant really blame them after ive dabbled in the absolute incoherent madness that is msfs2024 editing)

I’ve had issues with several of their sceneries and have contacted them via their support and haven’t heard anything. 

I have had some success over the past 18 months, but it takes a long time. As for IniBuilds, I am starting to wonder if their "MSFS 2024 only" philosophy now also extends to updates of older products that were released for both versions of the simulator. I simply cannot understand why they would (for example) release an update for the MSFS 2024 version of LOWI Innsbruck without also doing the same for the MSFS 2020 version.

Huh??  I've never heard of any association between FlyTampa and TowerSim--that's a Feelthere product.

This is one reason I've stopped buying addons.

Most addons these days are garbage; not worth the money; stick to default and avoid problems.

Well, let us not get too carried away here. Those issues that I mentioned above are only minor blemishes in what are usually very solid products. However, it is those blemishes that let the rest of the side down. Unfortunately, I see the blemishes more easily than I see the surrounding rose garden, so they affect me a lot more than the average flight simmer.

They did the same with their A300, even the compatible FS24 A300 doesn't get any bug-fixes but, the premium one does. Bug-fixes that don't even relate to specificities to FS24.

I mean I agree with the sentiment that @Christopher Low is bringing across but you couldn't catch me flying the Asobo Max when the iFly exists, despite its issues. There's a lot of great third party addons and to be perfectly honest a lot of default content has its own share of issues.

That is not exactly encouraging. During my correspondence with them regarding these issues, they have never explicitly stated that they will no longer be providing fixes and updates for MSFS 2020 products, but your comment above suggests to me that this may indeed be the case.

I do enjoy using quite a few IniBuilds airport products, so I am more sad than annoyed if this turns out to be true. I really expected better from them.

correct once they have your money and the initial sales have dropped off, they move onto the next thing.  Why waste time fixing a centre line when the kids couldnt care less about such like.  You move on to designing the next airport burger king interior eye candy for the next product once its nearly done and just about sellable,  you throw a copy to the influecers to shill and the cycle starts again. its been happening for years and alot more so since 2020 came out

Also throw into the mix the army of complelely unqualfied twitch partners that influence other young naive gamers to buy these rubbish products (and ban anyone else from the websites or streams that question or cristise the product)  This is the strategy of many things in 2025.

Its a win win for both the devs, (they make profit), and the influencers they make a bit of money. and dont have to get a proper job. 

The only loser in this is the customer that can see the shoddyness of the products as Chris has mentioned.
