The BB Porter really is the gold standard, not just as a Porter but as a flight model in general.  It was the first plane for 2020 that struck me as feeling anything like an airplane, and it's still g

Ohh interesting, seems to be compatible with career mode including Skydiver missions.

I was looking forward to this but unfortunately it seems ALL the avionics require the PMS GT750 to be installed.

I have the TDS GTNi 750 and it won't support this...

Makes me want to reinstall the Milviz one to be honest.

Yeah, details are sparse. Definitely waiting for some reviews! I own and like the Milviz version quite a bit, but it’s not native 2024. And based on what I’ve read, I don’t believe BB has any short term plans to build a native 2024 version. The PC-6 would be a great plane for Career Mode so if this new one turns out to be of high fidelity, I’ll pick it up.

PMS offers a free version or you can use the GNS 530/430.

Well, it’s priced reasonably, and they emphasize a Hi Fi flight model…

…but it seems to be their first and only addon?

id have to see some positive buzz vs the Default and BBS I already own.

It is well priced and apparently the 'beta dive' is well modelled.

This is their first release and was initially announced over four years ago. They're a Ukrainian team. They've been displaced, called up for active duty, displaced again, etc..

As to the default aircraft; if ever a plane was crying out for the Working Title treatment, it's this one.

I've been flying the Blackbird/Milviz Porter version in the Ini Antartica scenery, and it's been handling very well. I don't see ant reason the buy another one of the same unless it has some outstanding new features that Blackbird/Milviz Porter don't have.

Several points:

1. Native 2024 / Career Mode, Walk around, flight model, etc.

2. Can outfit it for different types of operations which is a big selling point for immersion; like being able to transport skydivers and watching them bail out.

3. Sounds - this is an area where I think the BB version falls a bit short. From the video on their website, the sounds seem improved.

4. And lastly, I respect these devs for what they’ve had to go through while trying to develop this plane.

So as long as it’s well modeled, I’ll buy it. It’s only 20 Pounds and I like bush flying a lot. It’ll be nice to be able to use it in Career Mode in PNG with different mission types. We then just need SWS to get their native Kodiak finished.

I think that's slightly misleading advertising at this point.

Unless something changed, the only airplanes that are allowed in career mode are ones sold through the MSFS Marketplace, and FSG hasn't been approved as a vendor there, so the Simmarket version can't be used in career mode unless Asobo decides to change that setup.

You are correct about MS’s policy. I am not aware that it’s changed. I believe that’s why they said Career Ready on their website. I’m assuming it will be available in the Marketplace eventually. That’s where I plan to purchase it. But if they don’t get approved, then that will definitely diminish its value and justification for purchasing it.

Thanks for the feedback, I might buy it for career mode compatibility and to support a Ukrainian team.

Nice that it's the analog version. Beta mode is an absolute requirement so will be expecting that and interested to see how it's implemented. Currently using the Blackbird version extensively, but willing to take a look at this one if the reviews are good.
