Thanks, Al So far there is no new soundset for the TBM850. See Black Square forum (Just Flight). Maybe a day when Boris will be less busy. Real Deraps

I have to adjust my settings as my yoke is way way way to sensitive with both planes. I have a Turtle Beach VelocityOne I find that yoke (stick, in my case) is far too sensitive across MSFS. however, it differs across addons to a noticeable degree. so i end up building custom control curves for most addons. October 30, 2025Oct 30 Just purchased the professional bundle. I'm trying to configure my Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo to take advantage of the new features. Still can't map prop sync, or many of the de-icing switches. Is there a helpful guide somewhere on how to do this? I worked in the previous version but it has changed in the professional version. The event monitor in Spad shows simconnect_toggle_prop_ sync event but no luck............ October 31, 2025Oct 31 Have a look at the manual, page 143, last line. PC: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master, DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2X32 GB, Corsair HX 1000, Fractal Torrent, Samsung LC32 / G7 1440P.
October 31, 2025Oct 31 Bought the pack and tried the basic Baron on a cross-country flight. What more to say, very nice looking sounding feeling addon. Still got tricked by the presence of the weather radar screen: I turned it on, and when I encountered very visible weather outside I was kinda puzzled by not seeing it replicated on the radar screen... Then I checked the outside camera and 'doh! moment realizing there's no radar dish 😁 5800X3D, 64GB 3200 RAM, 7900 XT 20GB

Keep in mind that you can't use LVARs if mapping inside MSFS - it requires 3rd party software. Apologies if you know this, but without more detail it's hard to know where you're getting hung up. I'm using L:var_PropSyncSwitch (a boolean - 1 on, 0 off) using SPAD and it seems to work OK. Scott Edited October 31, 2025Oct 31 by tttocs
October 31, 2025Oct 31 The LVARs for the electric deice stuff - all booleans L:var_windshieldHeatSwitch L:var_PropHeatSwitch L:var_FuelVentHeatSwitch L:var_StallWarningHeatSwitch Again, all seem to work just fine. The de-ice boots are a little trickier since they're controlled by a 3-way spring-loaded switch. The LVAR is: L:var_SurfaceDeiceSwitch with values of 0=Auto, 1=Off, 2=Manual I map this to two toggles, one for Auto and one for Manual. Haven't quite figured out how to hold the switch, as a straight event clicks on and immediately off, but it does trigger the boots. Scott Edited October 31, 2025Oct 31 by tttocs
October 31, 2025Oct 31 Thanks, all, for your responses. I guess I was still under the impression that I could do everything I needed within MSFS. Obviously, I can't. So, I guess I'll spend some time this weekend getting acquainted with SPAD.neXt. From what I've seen, it now comes with a Bravo configuration. I know I will need to make some adjustments for the BS Baron. That said, I was able to fly the Baron around last night for a while. It's a nice piece of work. October 31, 2025Oct 31 Flying the Baron & Bonanza Pro in MSFS 2024, using the PMS50-GTN750 GPS Lite & have found the AP/GPS work well together & ILS approaches are spot on. Just need to be subtle on the throttle[s] & flaps. T45

I know I will need to make some adjustments for the BS Baron. The more complex the plane, the more likely you'll need something more than basic simconnect stuff. Black Square makes extensive use of LVARs, so to do a complete job you will absolutely need something outside. SPAD does support the Alpha and Bravo directly, but that doesn't mean you'll have a turnkey solution. You'll still have to program your stuff. Unfortunately, there is a learning curve but once you do your first one it gets easier and there are LOTS of tutorials out there. But unfortunately^2, many of the tutorials for the Honeycombs are from an earlier version and SPAD has completely revamped how they support the Honeycomb stuff so many of them are not very helpful. SPAD also features online snippets which you can import to help get you started. Some of these are good, some of them less so but they can be useful to learn techniques and provide starting points. You can also do a hybrid solution to start if it helps, using MSFS for some things and then slowly migrate to doing everything in SPAD. If you choose to do this, just be sure you disable any switches/buttons/axes in MSFS if you'll be controlling them in SPAD. Duplicate mappings have bitten many over the years. Good luck! Scott
October 31, 2025Oct 31 These two are the only ones I have which don't remember the livery you used last and always defaults to a different one. November 1, 2025Nov 1 I spent some time getting used to Spad.NEXT. I think I've put together a good setup. Although, the annunciator lights seem a bit wonky. They seem glitchy. I'm still trying to find the variable that controls the Engine Monitor Alarm lights to the left of the annunciator lights.
