In my case a single file of a scenery addon 'broke' the betas from 1.6.23 to 1.6.27. All stutters (during taxi at large airports, panning + landing) disappeared after disabling the respective (payware) addon. Finding the 'bug' took me more than two days. The result: Now I'm even more cautious in evaluating each beta build. (And, by nature and experience, I wouldn't blame others first if something goes wrong. Especially in IT. You may have previously seen François Rembry in some of the Feature Discovery Series videos we posted to YouTube (like this one about aerodynamics). François is Asobo's Flight Model and System Designer and is a graduate of a test pilot school in Germany. He has CPL, ATPL, and CFI ratings. I hope this latest beta at least improved a few bits for you. In general yeah that's true, developers are coming around to VR much more in recent times than they were 5+years ago and some do it better much than others. The history of Asobos/MS attention to VR is there for all to see and it's largely been a frustratingly annoying experience, even now they have one person (apparently) working on VR alone. So when Jorg says there's 10+% VR users out of 15 million players that's a lot of users relying on one person to do all the ground work. He's done a terrific job though, many new features have and are appearing but this beta is an example of wasted time fixing what should never of broke in the first place, but that seems to be Asobos strategy all over! There was snow. As far as I am concerned, living just some kilometers away from them, there is snow even in July, yes, but not down in the valley where temps were 20°C or more over few weeks in summer. MSFS doesnt care and depicts 20cm snow. Just. plain. wrong. Since four years plain wrong and nothing is done about it. So dont lecture me about mountains and snow coverage that I see out of my window... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

At least in the US I have NEVER seen one that is incorrect in relation to the touchdown zone of a given runway, and I have been looking specifically for this. It is an area of particular interest to me. In the past week, I have flown the PMDG 777F into KORD, KJFK, KSEA, KMIA and SBGR, and the glideslopes were dead accurate on every one of them. These are all default MSFS airports. The only large airport for which I have a 3rd party scenery addon is KDTW I have a utility program that can examine the data contained in xxxxx.NAX BGL files that contain the navaid parameters for airports and which define the placement of ILS localizers and glideslope transmitters in the scenery, and compared that to the FAA master navaid data records at https://adip.faa.gov/agis/public/#/public and found them to correspond perfectly in every one I have checked. I do not have access to government data for navaids outside of the US, but I assume that Asobo does. PAPIs are a very different matter. Unlike electronic Navaids, these are simple scenery objects that have to be manually placed in the correct location by airport scenery developers using aerial/satellite imagery as a guide, and sometimes they are not placed correctly. Although, even when they are placed correctly, there are many r/w airports where the visual PAPI glidepath and the electronic ILS glideslope do NOT match. There will be a note to that effect on the approach chart when that situation exists.
