The first previews of the PMDG 737 for MSFS 2024

Another instant buyer also. Just watch this reaction of a real 737 pilot to the crosswind handling characteristics. Fantastic!

He also mentions a new external model will be available on launch...

  • This to me is the most boring release of 2025. Now where's that amazing 757 and the 767 to follow by BlueBird?

  • I try to steer clear of PMDG discussions.  I have been a faithful customer for well over two decades and I can truthfully say I’ve bought every plane they have produced, for multiple platforms/simulat

Oh yes, absolutely, $70 definitely fits with the "around the cost of a coffee" quote that came from PMDG themselves

The coffee is the update price for those that already own the 2020 version.

The full price will most definately be $70. You don't have to be a soothsayer to know that.

RSR, in his own words on YT saying it was an upgrade and will cost a, “Couple cups of coffee”.

Do you have a link to where he actually said it. I'd like to rub it into Mathijs face and call him out on his gaslighting.

One persons review after receiving a free copy and your all in?

Amazin' how people can take one persons YouTube video as gospel.

I will wait until people with paid copies can comment on it right here on Avsim, they will be brutal if it's bad.

The YouTube hypers are hilarious in how they can make someone believe ihis is "the best ever" type nonsense.

Sure, here you go. Start at 3:00. At 3:58, “a very small upgrade charge”. At 5:06, the couple cups of coffee comment.

Do you have a grudge against PMDG?

Nothing to do with this one video, it was to show that somethings have improved. As far as I am concerned the best 737 is from PMDG since P3D days.

Sorry if it hurts your feelings!

Edit: And just to add if you bother to watch the video you will note he has some criticisms, like drag model is off, sounds need further improvement etc. So not totally biased.

What do people expect more from a 737? Like it is a 737 and will stay a 737. So yeah of course it looks like previous versions.

Hahaha, this made me laugh. Thank you. Yes of course!  It too will have 2 wings, a rudder, a PFD and MFD, a throttle... etc, etc. 😁

I think creating a non winglet model would be a week worth of modeling

Naw, it be many many man-years of effort.

And actual footage of them using it, why are you discounting that?

Plus there is some criticism in the video, it's not 100% positive.

Discord auto reply also says it.

The PMDG 737 for MSFS 2024 will not be a free upgrade from MSFS 2020.  As PMDG has been explaining for nearly a year now, there will be a nominal fee, equivalent to a couple of cups of coffee, to upgrade from MSFS 2020 to MSFS 2024.  Please read #announcements to stay up to date on any developments.

The price for several cups of coffee—if it's 8 cups, that would be $40.

Don’t forget PMDG is in the Virginia area near DC. Coffee is expensive in that area.
