I would really love to see GAIST working properly in MSFS 2024 in AI Offline mode. This was one of those issues that delayed my switch to the new simulator.

In Marine Traffic SW all ships are in right positions and headings. MSFS2024 uses same AIS data, but the headings are totally wrong. Why?

I have purchased Seafront Simulations Global Shipping 24 now, but I would still be keen to get GAIST working 100% in AI Offline mode.

I only just installed it last night, so I will be able to have a good look at it over the weekend. I also got Pyreegue Motorworks at the same time, since I have quite a few airports that use the default vehicle assets.

I read that GAIST v7.1 does not work with SU4. Is this true? 

I'd like to test this package with having to purchase Global Shipping 24. If I have to, I will.

I just like the msfs 2020 version of GAIST.

If anyone has v7.1 & msfs 2024 working, please share your settings.

I think it is written a thousand times… SU4 broke it and Gaist is not running on MSFS2024

I really hope that Hendrik can get GAIST working in MSFS 2024 at some point. Global Shipping 24 is OK, but it has a limited number of ship types, and seems to be restricted to specific areas. When I had GAIST installed in MSFS 2020, I saw ships literally everywhere, and there were so many different types.

Thanks for sharing this info. I'll wait and hope for a future fix.

Maybe users of GS24 can ask the dev to expand coverage? I don't want to pay for an inferior add-on.

Offline traffic still seems to be broken in the SU5 Beta.
