It's unfortunate that the same issue continues to occur.

I truly don't understand why these issues persist after so much time. It's really unfortunate.

@Luis Hernandez and @JYW , unfortunately, this remains the issue. People refuse to see it, despite how obvious it is. If you believe this is the correct appearance with all buildings white like this, it indicates a major problem, similar to other issues related to seasons and textures. There’s no point in arguing about it. This simulator can't improve as long as this mentality and denial persist. Very disappointing.

While I am genuinely upset about a lot of issues that persist in the sim, and especially denials from some people (slow cockpit rendering comes to mind for one!), I CAN see the issue in your picture, but I have never seen it live in the sim myself.  It looks so washed out. Awful!

I take it that is NYC, about mid day, clear skies?  I will have to try and replicate it.

Folks: this morning we arrived at JFK on PUCKY1 STAR, which brought us from the West of NYC over LGA, departing on heading 180 to lose altitude, then a left turn to position us for rwy 31R, now from the East side of NYC. None of the buildings were white out. The bottom line here is that it can be improved; I don't see any problem calling the obvious.

Will not fix it, and will not give the amount of details photogrammetry gives, but seting it to off makes it less intense, I guess.

You know as well as everyone else that is an exception.  You cherry pick one aberration then whine that everything hasn't been fixed by now.  MSFS 2024 is an astoundingly fabulous sim and ALL SIMS deviate from reality in myriad ways.  I'm stunned how smooth the sim is virtually everywhere, super sharp edges everywhere, fabulous lighting, rapid initialization and loading, just a total joy to operate.  Keep up the great work, MS/Asobo!

Yes I did notice it. But I fly in the area all of the time, and on my PC / monitor it looks nothing like it does in your image.  Really nothing.  Perhaps most of the issues that frustrate you are actually localized issues, with their root being your system / hardware?     That would then explain why you are so unhappy with the present proposition, while most of the rest of us enjoy it.

You have a point that deserves serious consideration. Do you see any points that could be improved? I'm open to suggestions, please.
To be noted, as mentioned by @jcomm, having photogrammetry off there is a difference.

But you see, we're not debating that. What I describe isn't an isolated case; many people face these issues. And without accusing people like me of whining for voicing concerns, can you offer a constructive solution, please?

The best way to fix this is to fly in SoCal. I hear they even spruced the joint up a bit not too long ago.  🤙

Now, that may seem snarky, but in the grand scheme of things, I just can’t get worked up over what are IMHO minor problems like this.

While you’re free to share discontent, I really believe it’d really increase your enjoyment to focus more on the improvements in the release notes.

There’s always a ton of good stuff in there. 🤙
