Did you meant to type A340-600, or are you referring to buying the A300?

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

Since they talked about Toliss bringing their A330 to MSFS in this video, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Toliss is likely going to bring their A330 to MSFS.  I won't say 100% they are going to bring it, but 80% they will probably bring it.  The reasoning is that it appears their A340 sold really well for MSFS.  The Aerosoft servers were just hammered before the release, and after the release.  I would be interested to hear the actual sales if they ever disclose the sales, but I'm guessing it sold well.

To be fair, Aerosoft has released a lot of other products for MSFS. So they have experience with higher volume on their server.  But even as experienced Aerosoft is with releases and the traffic they get on their server for a release, they still weren't prepared for the traffic yesterday.  Based on that, I think the A340 sold well enough, for Toliss to consider bringing their A330 to MSFS (not 100%, but maybe 80% likely).

I'm not convinced.

I love your ongoing self dialogue.  It reminds me of myself.

It´s coming for shure, will take some time for SimApp ( maybe some 2 ore 3 weeks or possible faster ) a Mobiflight WinCTRL MCDU profile  ( for the MSFS A340-600 ) is already at flightsim.to for DL - supports MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 !!

I’m also hoping for this. I’m hesitating on the a340 mainly as it’s not something I’m likely to fly often, but the promise of Toliss systems (some experience previously in XP) tempts me.   If this had been an a330 I’d probably have caved in already!

We can always dream, but I hope those guys will go for an A330-900 NEO – in some future, that would be brilliant !!

cheers 😉

I am all in on your respons here. I normally dedicate 1-2 month on a specific aircraft so that i can get it under the "skin".

Its busy out there and also wants to support the developers.

As of now i am actually riding a blend of aircrafts - and because of hardware adjustments to all these new aircrafts. I whent out to buy alot of USB Hub switch 2.0 and 3.0 and i came to understand alot of Windoes issues

I’m mostly flying Airbus at the minute after being a long time 737 fan.  I have Winwing kit (not the throttles - have a bravo for that) and I like the idea of multiple aircraft that the hardware applies to.   I just wish Fenix would get the neos out (although fslabs is decent but has some handling issues for me still).

back to the a340, I still might get it yet…..🤣

I want an A340 - what’s the verdict Toliss or Inibuilds? I care less about the specific variant

Well that's a no brainer then: Toliss.

Edit: I'd like to be a bit more specific as both Aircraft have different strengths.

Toliss has great performance, a perfect replay function, a very good flight model, a jump ahead feature, the ability to save situations and probably the deepest and most accurate system modeling of any Airbus on the market including random failures. Enough that real pilots could use it for procedural training, if the A340-600 was still a widely flown aircraft in real life, which it isn't. The age of the airframe and engines can also be adjusted, which introduces more drag and higher fuel consumption.

Inibuilds has a native Msfs2024 model, with all the gimmicks that come with that, including the option to fly the Aircraft with the old CRT screens and the different flightcomputer display logic behind them, a way more slick and modern designed EFB, at this moment better integration of CPDLC from both BeyondATC and Say Intentions as well as Hoppie, in my opinion a better soundset, a good flightmodel, out of the box compatibility with WINCtrl Hardware, also the ability to save situations and simulated GPS jamming. The failures however are rudimentary and not always accurately modeled.

It's a good aircraft for A-B flights, but not a deep simulation of the real thing, like the Toliss version.

It should also be noted that the A343 is underpowered with the CFM engines, which you will definately notice in the climb out. The A343-600 is not.

This has always been the plan.

The choice of the A340 was a rather strategic part of it, as well.

For $90 and considering that they're porting systems that have already been created I would have expected at least an effort to have a model on par with other devs. Not saying it needs to be Fenix level but this really is pathetic.
