Tal vez más fácil reducirlo a 2. For me, the masterpiece in Airliners for MFS remains Leonardo's MD80.
March 8Mar 8 I picked up the Starship several months ago, but just really got into flying it about a month ago. It has become my favorite plane. Fly it down low like a GA plane or fly it high like a biz jet. It’s such a unique experience with great versatility. In his year end best MSFS add ons video, Into the Blue Simulations called it a once in a generation or even lifetime plane. That says it all!
March 8Mar 8 It is, as above, an impossible question @RobJC. It really is about what aspect you are after. Your list includes some really, really good and interesting aircraft. The A300-600R is, in my view, QUITE different to the subsequent Airbus models as it is very much 'old school starts pushing towards a new world'. It really does feel old-school in many respects...but you can see where they are trying to head (I have a similar view of the BAe146 vs the AvroRJ series...they look identical - but inside the cockpit it's chalk and cheese...and I like that) Boeing and Airbus go about stuff in a fundamentally different way. So either of the 737's would have mileage as the 777 is closer to ultra modern, which the 737's are not The A340 is going to be WONDERFUL - but it is a different model with similar systems to the mainstream Airbus's rather than the Airbus ultra-modern, such as the A350 The Black Square Starship - well, what's to say. Unique. Challenging. Old fashioned (such as programming your flight) meets ultra modern (it itself). MD-11 No experience, myself...but it's on my own, 'next one to get?' list Edited March 8Mar 8 by AJZip2 Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

They say there just like how they did an external engine model in XP earlier to not have to bother with re-tuning/adapting specifically for XP12, they also now will have an external flight model, so as to serve both the MSFS and XP platforms. In any case, there are many devs who've managed to build stellar flight models for their aircraft by not going external, so I really don't think there are sim limits per se (especially with 2024).. it's more about customizing and fine tuning the flight models with the platform tools/frameworks available, as opposed to going with pure default models. This being said, from the videos i've searched so far there's still that absence of inertia in ground physics, which I believe can't be done outside of the sim physics engine, and never felt right to me, since FS 2020.. Some models can partially overcome the limitations of MSFS 's ground physics, but not fully... March 8Mar 8 Author Yeah, this is hard but also a great problem to have. Thanks for the help, guys. I think i am eventually going to get all of these, plus the BS Caravan when released. But the first two i am buying when i get home are the MD-11 and Starship. As mentioned, both are going to provide contrast to the current planes I fly. In real life i would head straight to these two first. Probably going to buy the Leonardo MD-80 after that (serious omission!). After that possibly the ToLiss. What a great time to be a flight simmer. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

JF Caravan, MD-11, MD-80, then the ToLiss A340 is the exact order I had written down for my next purchases along with the Flying Iron Spitfire, Taog Dauphin and new Blackbird Corsair when they are released. Also plan to upgrade my SimWork Studios Kodiak when the native 2024 version lands, which is supposed to be soon.

March 8Mar 8 I am a big fan of BlackSquare GA aircraft. Currrently flying the Baron and TBM, pretty much exclusively. Waiting for the Caravan.. 🙂 I used to fly Carenado models a lot, but have lost interest since they appear unwilling to fix obvious problems in their recent releases, in spite of numerous reports.. March 8Mar 8 There’s a lot of discussion about the different airliners particularly about the md11 being old school. The md11 is extremely automated and on par with a modern Boeing or Airbus imo. However, actually hand flying it is a different story and landing in particular is something that takes a lot of practice. It is very pre-disposed to just dropping out of the sky and getting a nice landing in it is extremely satisfying. For that, despite my strong leaning towards more retro planes (even though md11 doesn’t work like one) the md11 is something I keep coming back to just because I love hand flying it. Otherwise, really can’t go wrong with the starship. Edited March 8Mar 8 by Lucky38i
March 9Mar 9 The Starship is great but I've been having an absolute ball with the TFDi MD-11, and I'm not even a "tubeliner dude". It just has such good depth and it just works great... I am much more enthralled with it than I was the Starship. "That's what" - She
