March 15Mar 15 Coming along nicely. What I don't understand is they've added all these useless APU and engine internal bits to the model, but won't add a simple KU2 wifi option to go with the existing one. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers

March 15Mar 15 I am glad I invested in this airplane back in the day. Always been a fan of iFly's stuff! I hope we get a preview of the 9 somewhat soon.

The Chinese trio - Jiangwei Shen, Bo Yuan and Ming Xia - really knows their stuff.😁 (screenshot source) It seems that the teams that work away completely without any personal cult are home to the true Adrian Neweys of flight simulation.😉 Edited March 15Mar 15 by MrLamb 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'
March 15Mar 15 Here is hoping they can bring their 747-400 rendition to MSFS 2024. I think it was a really good addon in P3D.

I feel like the LNAV flight guidance improvements kind of work in harmony with the smoothing of the HUD guidance to create something close to reality. Yes, the sounds are beyond amazing. Personally I think the EFB is the best implementation I've seen in a sim aircraft. I don't know if it was mentioned on this stream, but you can also mirror the EFB to a physical tablet on your network, and that includes an option for a tappable CDU on your tablet so you can use a life-sized touch screen CDU vs your mouse with the one in the VC. A nice touch, I thought. You seem to have some "knowledge" 😉 A couple of questions therfore: 1) Can you finally modify runway length in the EFB calcs? (intersections etc.) 2) Will it finally go to VNAV SPD mode when enabling VNAV when high on the path? Or will it still dive down at 8000 FPM in VNAV PTH mode? 3) Can it finally do the live recalculation of the vertical path when modifying restrictions or waypoints in the legs page without executing them? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
