March 18Mar 18 To make your graphics look incredibly much sharper, so a 1080 video will look like 4K, try this: (if you have a nvidia graphics card) 1.Call up your Nvidia Control Panel by right clicking on the Desktop. 2. Go to 'Adjust desktop size and position' at the left hand side. 3. Enable 'Integer scaling' within the scaling tab. (most people have 'Aspect ratio' enabled) 4. Go to 'Manage 3D settings' at left hand side. 5. You should notice a new option at the top of the list named "Image Sharpening", click on it and a small window should appear. 6. Set 'Sharpen' to: 0.65, and 'ignore film grain': 0.17. Thats it! I found after doing this, (which was derived from comments in a youtube video) everything is so much sharper (have a nvidia 4080 graphics card) the sharpness of aircraft and everything else within Flight Simulator 2024 is very pleasing to behold! Also, videos are so nice now. Good luck with it.😀
March 18Mar 18 Do you have the link to that YouTube video? It appears to be too good to be true, specially without using any upscaling technology such as DLDSR (or even the old DSR). Some attempt to edit the registry, but in my opinion, this is the best and least intrusive method. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

No, don't have the link to the video, but the content of the video had someone explaining how you had to modify your registry, but I read down in the comments of the youtube video that you could obtain the same effect by changing the nvidia settings within the Nvidia Control Panel, so didn't bother with watching the video, just tried the settings, and thought that was just great! Feel its made so much of a difference. BBC 'Escape to the Country' episodes look like 3D now! Ha Ha.

March 18Mar 18 The OP's method does not work for me. quote: 1.Call up your Nvidia Control Panel by right clicking on the Desktop. 2. Go to 'Adjust desktop size and position' at the left hand side. 3. Enable 'Integer scaling' within the scaling tab. (most people have 'Aspect ratio' enabled) unquote: On my system after doing steps 1. and 2. There is no option about "integer scaling". The 3 options are: Aspect Ratio. Full Screen. No scaling. There is no "integer scaling for a choice. March 19Mar 19 This was done previously by a registry edit but I guess it can be done in the NCP now. This has been around for a while and yeah, it does a nice job with visuals.
