Seb had to be prodded in the back with a broom handle before he gave a response about thunderstorms in live weather and then Jorge had to press the 'technical difficulties' button under his desk as Martial slipped into some obscure Franglaise.

April 15Apr 15 At least the Caravelle has been taken out of the hands of AH after the 707 debacle. Perhaps Asobo will do it themselves since it's the iconic French airliner.

It was expectable ..

Live WX is good enough in their mind it seems. After being asked about the Thunderstorm depiction (lack thereof) and after a moment of 'crickets' from Seb, he brushed it off and talked about how good the turbulence model is. He also said Thunderstorms are fine in 'Preset' mode. I don't think we will see much weather/cloud improvement in Live WX for a long time if ever as nobody is acknowledging there's even a problem or the fact it needs to be improved. Looks like we are stuck with tiny cottonball clouds at FL 350 for the foreseeable future in Live WX mode!🫤 That is a shame. I never use anything other than live weather (or sometimes historic by a few hours). April 15Apr 15 The general thrust of Jorge's comments was that as far as he's concerned they're still polishing the product after the shaky launch and this will continue through the rest of the year. Interesting that he admitted some areas of topography in 2020 are superior to 2024 and they've had difficulty getting Bing to do something about this.

This is honestly the most maddening thing about the MSFS development team. I know they read these forums and it blows my mind they're fine with X-Plane smoking them on clouds and weather. Weather is arguably the most important aspect of flight and they're totally OK with their current version being completely meh. I hope someone can talk sense into them because it's MSFS's weakest component.

The thing this is supposed to be a flight "simulation" and Live Weather should take a much higher priority than it ever has up until now, sometimes I think they just don't "get it" so to speak. It is one of the major things holding it back and is a regular topic on forums and streams. Only the other week or so people still getting incorrect temperature bugs on the ground and in the air. People can't cruise above FL300 because the temperature is +15 or what ever only thing that seems to solve it is restarting the sim doesn't happen a lot for some but very annoying when it does. Don't remember the last time I saw a CB at a high level when it should be showing.
