FlyTampa... Area 51?

Featured Replies

I really wish they would spend the time and update KLAS for MSFS24 properly update the strip, the airport, and the elevation issues. I have no problem paying but I paid for an update that has lot's of issues.

GSP is updating KLAS monthly.

First time I see Flytampa creating a dedicated website. I'm puzzled and very curious!

It could sell well to the regular folks though, kind of like this Stranger Things add-on.

You and I may not be interested but a lot of people will.  It should help FlyTampa have more resources to improve the stuff *we* want, like KLAS...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe FlyTampa is just a group of developers, not every scenery is made by the same person.

KLAS being updated is dependant on the dev that made that scenery.

Not really basing this on anything but it might be mostly a Sierra Division project, publishing under FlyTampa with some sort of sharing of the labor. SD looks like a pretty competent modeler.

I wonder if they have modelled the nine hangars that are apparently built into the side of a mountain at S-4? Maybe an animated model of Bob Lazar to provide a guided tour?

I would have preferred that before Area 51, FlyTampa simply release a version of EHAM without caltrop for 2024. Simply.

If they don’t fix LAS… they will lose my support… I didn’t mind paying again, I don’t mind the scenery issues but to have improper terrain elevation is inexcusable.

I agree maybe they should re-make Las Vegas all togehter. I would be ok with that and I would be ok paying for it but to release a patch, then patch the patch, and again patch that patch and it's still not fixed.

Wish they’d update EHAM, will enjoy the Area 51 add-on heaps with my Janet 737-600!

Oh, and will WU21 be OK with FT YSSY?

What About FlyTampa Airports?

When we spoke to FlyTampa about this project, we also wanted to understand what this meant for their previous airports in the simulator. Emilios from the team said, “I’d love to address the community directly on a few things”.

Firstly, Las Vegas is being rebuilt from the “ground up”. This massive overhaul will take work, but it’s being developed to the “highest quality” and will be built to last.

For those wanting to know more about Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM) the team is currently working on compatibility. Furthermore, FlyTampa is working directly with the airport itself to make a larger upgrade in the future once they have enough data and the volume of changes justify the development.
