May 7May 7 Just heard from George at FlyTampa about FT YSSY and WU21: "Turns out the bridges are broken because of the new TIN terrain mesh. Its also broken in the Microsoft Asobo YSSY, so they'll have to fix it. Its impossible, as far as I know, to remove TIN areas with the SDK. Asobo have to exclude the entire airport island or there just isn't enough resolution to have those 3d bridges." Oh! Anything sitting in water like boats and marinas have a horrible dark blobby outline around them at water level. Have a high end system, all settings on ultra and wired 1150 mbps internet connection PG always does that with water features, kind of hard to avoid. That's why there are so many water/marina and vege fixes for PG areas on flightsim.to Edited May 8May 8 by Nandengo12

I might have a small little work around in the next few days depending on the time I have. So I applied two terraforms next to each other, one at the edge of the tunnel and the other at the edge of that terraform. The taxiway flattens out which is good but the tunnel dissappears.
May 8May 8 Commercial Member Just exported it, thought I do it before I fly interstate over the weekend so you guys can enjoy Sydney over the weeknd 😉. Notes * this is a small project I've been working on over the months to make the surrounding areas of SYD better and didnt want to make a whole new package so the temporary fix is apart of this package. Includes elevation fixes to the tunnel under 34L/16R (su5) Includes water elevation fixes adjacent to 34L/16R Includes smoke from warehouses along Botany Includes cars parked along (Old airport drive). They currently use it as a carpark, road is now closed and the new road has been opened Includes items added around Kurnell Some little touches and a few things I cant remember no doubt If anyone comes across anything thats not working correctly just send me msg and I'll try sort it. https://www.dropbox.com/t/w1KxvgtrR2YOauwa Edited May 8May 8 by rick celik
May 8May 8 one could think that testing at least the biggest airport within WU boundaries should be the first thing to do, but no, once again Asobo shows that obviously they do not know the word quality assurance. May 8May 8 Thats what I meant. Not expecting them to check addon airports, but breaking their very own one is just... embarassing? But we get used to this, no? 🤣 Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

May 8May 8 The only payware Townsville YBTL is by MFSG, right? Is any other dev doing Townsville airport despite Impulse Simulations which brought us an awesome v2 of their Townsville landmarks pack-I thought a dev like Impulse would be doing it, they previously had it on their roadmap. Enjoying all the handcrafted airports in WU21, is there a list of new POI available yet? Happy you can use the Showcase Camera to explore the interiors of the WU21 handcrafted airports without being bumped to the roof, unlike with WU7 handcrafted airports like Longreach YLRE which bump you to the roof when exploring with the Showcase Camera, a regression to be fixed in a future Sim Update. Many buildings in the centre of the city are melted badly and again like Perth everything in the water looks terrible with darker blobs around every marina, jetty, bridge etc. PG is on, map displacement on, everything on ultra. TLOD is 400, wired 1 gig internet and even live pausing I am not seeing visuals improve so no streaming issues. I love flying round parts of Australia as it brings back memories of VOZ and the beginning of ORBX but areas seen so far look awful. Update is installed ok as per all other world and city updates. I see on Google there is a carrier type ship in the harbour beside "The Naval Historical Society of Australia", its a mess in this update. Flat and flickering like crazy as the Z axis fights for dominance over the water. This is from my MSFS20, and personally it's quite impressive: the marinas look quite mostly OK, and coastline is also crystal clear. Very few melted buildings or blobs. This is on only TLOD 070. Some settings are ultra but trees and water fx and what-not are only medium.
