I think we posted simultaneously but in my previous post upthread I showed what I am seeing in Sydney in 20 on not very high settings. So I am curious what exactly you are seeing.

This is from my MSFS20, and personally it's quite impressive: the marinas look quite mostly OK, and coastline is also crystal clear. Very few melted buildings or blobs. This is on only TLOD 070. Some settings are ultra but trees and water fx and what-not are only medium. Yep, that's what I'm seeing. The scenery goes way out to past Prospect reservoir in the west, although by the time you get to Penrith it's back to autogen. Two other cities I know well, Wagga Wagga and Albury, are very well handled. With the latter it also includes the sister city of Wodonga over the Victorian border, and going west from there covers most of the way to the Rutherglen turnoff. Very impressed so far. But they still have to do something about the trees.

May 17May 17 Oh great. Can't wait to make a few flights from Australia to nearby islands and their famous ski stations, like Milford Sound for example...Milford Sound is in New Zealand. Sorry just saw this and couldn't resist.Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
May 17May 17 Imagine Lord of the Rings fellowship of elves, men, dwarfs and hobbits traveling along the bleak Aussie outback desert. Mordor might be Ayers Rock. Instead of lovely scenic New Zealand! 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 17May 17 Guys, seriously, I thought it was obvious but apparently not...PS: apparently the forum refuses me the possibility to post a picture... interesting...Ok I give up trying to post a picture to illustrate, and will just explain here, because it seems people here is unable to understand jokes or sarcasm... 🙄I know very well that Milford Sound is in NZ and that NZ is not Australia, thanks. My post was a way to criticize Asobo that keeps trying to make that area of the globe better while ignoring the fact that the real weather still won't allow us to land in Milford Sound because it's always covered in snow, since several years. And like it or not, New Zealand IS a (big) island near Australia, near enough to make a 2 hours flight to it. Yes it's not as near as Tasmania, sure, but it's still "nearby".
