I assume that I would not see dumb take offs or landings on the wrong runway (or the wrong end of a runway) with PSXT?

No you would not, because they represent their real live counterparts with a delay of 30 seconds.

👏👏👏 From the cold shower of FSLTL almost shutting down to its rebirth. Great news.

It won't be any different than it was before, so no. PSXT will get far more traffic as it gets blocked traffic that FR24 never sees (there's a lot more out there than what FR24 shows). Plus the psxt

Seems to be working great here!

Ok after a bit of faff (I had set up FSLTL to start Silent so never got the Web page prompt to show up as per Navigraph suggested it would + a World Map Filter mod clashed with the Navigraph AIRAC update so no Airports would show up on the World Map...!) it's all up and running, I see aircraft back in the skies with FLSTL injector and confirmed in LNM/Flight Planner so all is normal again.

I've not yet compared side-by-side with FlightRadar24 and being mainly a VFR guy I couldn't give a stuff if the Jumbo Jets aren't taking off from the correct runway, I merely want the skies & airports to feel alive in Real Time.

Also I'm a first time Navigraph subscriber so ran through that initial setup quickly at first, added those programs to Add-Ons Linker to auto start as per usual (my god what an App that is!), will look into Navigraph in more detail another time.

Well tried it on EDDL.
I see a Emirates A380 landing from the wrong side.

Runway 05L/R is in use and not 23L/R
So far not working as I expected

Any thoughts ?

FSLTL doesn’t control what runways the AI uses.

Beat me to it... I flew a flight (from my screenshots) to SFO... first time everything performed realistically for me! I should try a light GA flight next.

That is an endorsement!

Got everything installed, seems fairly simple once I got the option to select Navigraph.

One thing I'm noticing is that there's a plane flying low over the airport, every one I've checked so far in the US. Looks like American Airlines, but hard to tell. It just seems to be on a loop and repeats. I know default ATC has some quirks, but I don't remember this happening so consistently. There's always an odd plane here or there, but this is repeatable (At least at JFK, PVD and PHL).

BATC would be really nice to see in action, as unlike FSTL, BATC does control AI with its overall ATC realm and it's gradually improving in this area from one release to another.

I'm a little off topic here but I tried a GA flight in the Lancair Legacy and it was like my last ones lol... left me far too high trying to get me into an uncontrolled airport, gave me like five 10 degree incremental vectors to get to a certain runway (even though it's uncontrolled and I was going for the visual... just point me at the airport and ask if I have it in sight hehe), and then the usual "no tower services at CVH have a nice life" haha.

Does anyone know how to make the injector look at a external community folder. It keeps looking at the default MSFS 2024 Community folder on my PC's primary hard drive. All of the liveries are on my external drive so the injector is not seeing the liveries and wants me to put them in the community folder on my C drive which i do not want to do. The FSLTL faqs does not help.

You could use Addon Linker to 'send' a symbolic link from your external drive to the community folder. You could just create a symbolic link yourself. A simple shortcut might even work.

To be honest, I am more interested in realistic animations and ground movements at the moment than I am with interactive ATC. I assume that I would not see dumb take offs or landings on the wrong runway (or the wrong end of a runway) with PSXT? As soon as I see word not allowed like that in a flight simulator, ATC gets turned off. As I have mentioned many times on this forum, P3Dv4 did a far better job of ATC and the AI environment at airports than I have ever seen in MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024.

Assuming the coverage is good enough, the landings and takeoffs are the best from PSXT. Way better and more realistic than beyondatc or sayintentions at the moment
