There is a decent of people flying it. 100 or so on Vatsim currently for example and 120 on Volanta (will be duplicates of the vatsim connections as well)

theres many people flying ryanair and wizz today, doesnt mean their any good and doesnt mean all the pax are happy customers either....

  • This post is SO SPOT ON! I'm so sick of the entitlement in this community. People want an addon and they want it cheap! Does anyone here actually work for a living? Do they raise a family, buy fue

  • It's rampant, it's not just here. It's people complaining about 2020 to 2024 native addon upgrade fees, to just anyone complaining about the cost of making products. If a new addon isn't 29.99 USD t

  • Well my take is that the price of everything in the world is going up hugely, very very quickly. What was correct when announced in April 2025 may be wildly out now given the rising cost of everything

At this price point i would expect it to be a finished project. I'm glad i held back until it reaches such a level.

True, But I was mainly replying about your point about the lack of requests on EDI-GA. More than anything else.

I wouldn't say the addon is bad though personally. Does it need a few updates? Sure but then what addon doesn't.

It is finished

If a product getting bug fixes means it’s unfinished, then nearly every piece of software ever released is unfinished.

Not even remotely comparable situations.

What do you guys think of the sounds? My opinion is really mixed. I think they're typical Echo19 sounds, like on the A350 and Tristar, poor mixing, inaccurate sounds, and so on.

They are very mediocre. Seems like they got some good samples of a few sounds and others are bad. I am only referring to interior sounds, I don't really care about external sounds as I am not outside the aircraft when flying. General noise on the flightdeck is OK, engine sounds are OK (everyone was giving attention to the howl that you only hear for a few seconds here and there). What is really lacking are the ground roll sounds (lack thereof) and the worst sound in the package is the sound when the landing gear is down. It is a really bad sample, overly loud and 'staticky', not sure why they used it. I could have ChatGPT create a much better looping sound in about 5 minutes or less like I have done for some flightdeck airflow sounds on other aircraft. Like you said, balance and volumes seem to be off as well. They really needed Boris on this one instead of E19....

I'm not blaming anyone, just my own observation.

what im saying is just because they've sold over 100 copies or theres over 100 flying them on volanta doesnt mean theres 100s of happy customers.

Andrew from fsl used to spin this line saying FSL had 1000s of happy customers because they had sold over 1000 copies.

Thats called fudging the stats/numbers in my book, this is sort of games that politicians try and spin

how can it be finished if numerous people seem to be getting ctds on approaches and it seems to tank frames to single digits.

we have set the bar so low in this community now, again the devs must laughing all the way to the bank.

as ive always said, we have have done this community a dis-service over the years by happily paying and promting pay to beta junk and the devs have responded in kind.

Not so good, we should wait for the FTSIM+ sound mod.

Yes, it may be a finished product, but not polished like other (not any) add on releases. I admit to rush my purchase because was very curious about the new avionics and good cockpit graphics, for now it seems for me that is working a little better in 2024 than 2020, will wait for some fixes in the coming days.

Until people begin buying a newly released addon, no-one really knows what condition it will release in. It's not like you can count on YouTubers to give an honest view of pre-releases. To them, everything is just wonderful (perhaps because there was no cost to them). In his review of the pre-release of the Aerosoft A340 a few months ago, Blu Gaming said the addon was the best airliner around at that moment. 🤔

The vast majority of non-essential purchases made by people are made on an emotional basis. People want enjoyment and happiness. They have hope that it will perform to their expectations. It's very harsh and naive to simply blame the whole community for the condition of the Synaptic A220 😄 Anyone buying it now - with these reports - well, that's a different matter.

Oh, by the way, have you bought it yet?

All your "arguments" in this thread are so embarrassing.

Synaptics released a broken plane, full of bugs, crashes, and terrible performance, and you're seriously coming here with arguments like "But hundreds of people are flying it without any problems" and "No software is bug-free."

People usually outgrow that kind of reasoning after kindergarten.

They can’t even manage to release clean patches and patch notes without causing total confusion again, just like with the -100.
