Is it comparable to the fidelity of top-tier airbus simulations (Fenix and FSL)?

It's not an Airbus aircraft technically, so not really easy to compare. It's a Bombardier aircraft Airbus took over.

There have been a couple real A220 pilots flying it, and they've enjoyed it.

  • This post is SO SPOT ON! I'm so sick of the entitlement in this community. People want an addon and they want it cheap! Does anyone here actually work for a living? Do they raise a family, buy fue

  • It's rampant, it's not just here. It's people complaining about 2020 to 2024 native addon upgrade fees, to just anyone complaining about the cost of making products. If a new addon isn't 29.99 USD t

  • Well my take is that the price of everything in the world is going up hugely, very very quickly. What was correct when announced in April 2025 may be wildly out now given the rising cost of everything

Also, it's 2024 compatible. Not 2024 native. Why would I spend that amount of money for a 2020 airplane?

Anyone else having problems purchasing. I put all my payment details in, press buy and the screen just goes blank! Could it be site overload or has everyone else purchased ok?

I am going to throw caution into the wind and purchase it. The regional market stinks. Just unfinished aircraft. I have purchased regrettable aircraft before (hello Aerosoft). Hopefully this is better. I understand it was just released so I expect some bugs possible . Even PMDG has them on initial releases. I won't be kind if it has features that will come in later releases. Haven't seen anything like that in reviews yet.

Cheers!

FYI, the flickering is just on AMD cards and can be fixed by turning the DU brightness up. Perf is just fine for me, but I didn't have a route loaded. That fix might be pushed by MS today as it's already been submitted.

I was sort of looking forward to this one, but at this price point I can wait. There are a few others for less than this that I am considering.

Yeah nah ... the perf issue is going to need some optimization work .. I'm not rocking 9850X3D or higher and i've been sitting in the discord chat and the reports about the "lack of" performance has been pretty consistent.

I maybe could have turned up the displays but the perf .. thats a no go.

If performance sucks in 2D it will super suck in VR, I'm gonna wait for an update before purchasing.

Performance is very rough on my system. It reminds me of the FBW A380 in its early days, with very similar performance.

Because of the poor performance, it's not possible to use sim rate 4x, even though it's supported on the EFB. The aircraft starts to oscillate until the A/P disconnects.

If i have my FMS on the route page this happens, however if I select POS page the whole performance is much much smoother. Very strange indeed!

It's rough for me even without being on the ROUTE page in the FMS.

This performance degradation bug on the ROUTE page has already been fixed and it up to Microsoft to push the update.

I have been looking forward to this one. I went ahead and purchased and all was well on the initial startup and taxi out at KMSP. It was very smooth on pushback and taxi out and I was looking forward to the departure. I am not sure what caused it but as soon as I entered the runway, severe stutters started and was barely able to takeoff. I had to end the flight right after liftoff due to the severe performance degradation. I did not have the terrain option turned on, the only thing I had done was hit direct to my first waypoint before entering the runway. Will try again but that was not good...

Update: I saw a report that this might be from having the Route Legs page open which was in my case so will close that on next try.
