Totally fair to charge what they need to based on costs increasing. Comms could have been better handled, but none of this would prevent me from buying it.

Yes, they should have announced it before or at the same time the edits went live.

There's plenty of live streams and videos over the last few days you can watch.

There is a known issue with certain MFD screens causing performance issues, the Route/Legs page, but they're working on it.

Makes me wonder, how fast they can push these updates to their users, since it's marketplace only for the moment. Even if they have an update ready in the next days It might be a while until we get it on marketplace.

I usually don’t comment on pricing but with dozens of sim YouTubers now on record that the 100 is included and not a separate purchase, I find this practice by Inibuilds very deceptive to say the least.

Inibuilds mentioned they had only found out yesterday and nothing to do with them.

Could Synaptic have handled the PR a bit better though? Maybe, but equally no one has spent any money on it yet - if the price is too much you're free to not spend your money. It's not like they sold three variants and only gave you one.

This post is SO SPOT ON! I'm so sick of the entitlement in this community. People want an addon and they want it cheap! Does anyone here actually work for a living? Do they raise a family, buy fuel for their vehicle, pay utilities, own a mobile phone, have internet? 95% of developers aren't just people trying to make a fast buck. They CARE about this community. But they need to provide for their families too. The current cost of living is atrocious almost anywhere you live. I think it's 100% more than fair to change to paid upgrades for more variants.

As always, at the end of the day, the customer can decide to buy it or not. Most of the airliner fans here and everywhere else aren't going to be interested in the ACJ version anyway.... that's for people like me! I'll be buying the version today at any rate.

Where are you seeing entitlement?

What I'm seeing is people criticizing not the fact that the -100 will be paid rather than free (as initially announced) but the way in which it was communicated. Which IMO is entirely fair criticism, and it's certainly not entitlement.

From what i have seen they have explained in detail what happened regarding the price change and how it was communicated.. acknowledged the mistake and apologized for it .. So i presume you have accepted their apology and moved on?

Not sure why everyone is overreacting about the A220-100 news. It took them 6 years to release one plane. We will be lucky to have the -100 by 2028. You can’t honestly think you were getting that for free without a small upgrade fee from a project that originally was supposed to be 100% free and is now payware. Theres different people calling the shots now and times change. Get over it and move on.

It wasn't IniBuild's decision.

Marketplace updates are a lot faster now than they used to be. For the ini A340 they were usually out with in a couple days.

What I haven't seen is an explanation for why a forum post from April 2025 that originally said "free" was changed to say "paid". That's the one and only thing here that rubs me the wrong way.

It's pretty obvious, so people reading the old dev updates wouldn't given wrong information.
