Well said Ryan...the plane working great without bugs from day one in various HOT systems: VNAV, LNAV Magenta line drawing, flying and system logics. This was a discussion I had with a friend of mine today. Lets wait for some minor bugs to be resolved on SP1...Until then enjoy and fly the plane with all the hydraulic fluid left...!

NGX Engine failure and fire takeoff VIDEO
Themis replied to Circletoland's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Very nice and educational video. I really enjoyed how realistic NGX simulates the Engine Failure...Thanku! -
This PDF must included in the NGX installation...! Thank U Simon

Martin,The turns are too steep for the speed you have selected. If you select 300 IAS will overshoot more. Lower your speed and the aircraft will perform well.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with the NGX Sounds?
Themis replied to kantk2008's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
I also find great the sounds of NGX as I mentioned in a previous post BUTAside from a Livery Installer must be a Soundset Installer...- PMDG Sound Pack- Engine Spool Up Emphasis Sound Pack- Hi-end Sound Pack with Analog Tube Warmouth Recording- Deep Bass Sound Pack for neighbors pleasure.- more to come....Themis KatakalosLGAV -
I can't think of the multi crew option coming later for this plane....!!Themis KatakalosLGAV

Hi,There is no software bug free. Even the multi-million sims, and the real planes need updates because they have bugs on hardware and software (with wider beta test team than PMDG). When you program such a complex and in depth aircraft it's impossible to not have any problems and bugs. Have in mind that we are not talking about "closed boxes" of hardware with specific operating system running. Here we are talking about PCs with various of configurations, operation systems, and programs already installed. There are so many parameters that are waiting to cause problems. I'm from the lucky side that I haven't got any problems with the NGX, but good news is that PMDG listen and trying tom resolve them even if they must trigger other software companies (Flexnet etc).Just my 2 cents,Themis KatakalosLGAV

In all of my flights, I can successful arm the LNAV from the ground. Be sure you have setup correctly the FMC. Make the procedure right from the beginning to end. Read carefully the introduction PDF, LNAV has limitations of when will allow engagement from ground as the Real NG has...Back to Ground School...Themis KatakalosLGAV

I had the same line dance programming the FMC from LGSM RWY 27 (SID URNIL). Strange..Themis KatakalosLGAV

The sounds are really amazing. I think it is the first plane that Is mandatory to fly with a good sound system + sub to hear all the spectrum. Yesterday I was approaching LGTS and constantly switching to wing view to have the feel of the passenger. The different sound set gave THE atmosphere during the descend. The sound of idle, spooling of the engine was thrilling...! Nothing to compare with the real because its the Real 737. Very well done!Themis KatakalosLGAV

After the NGX, sure I can...!

All systems working very good. No problems so far.Very good work PMDG!.Themis Katakalos

Because the real NG can't slow down like the iFly 737. The 737NGX slows down the exact way the real bird does it everyday.

When you Turn off the Ground Power from the overhead and there is no other source available the emergency cockpit lights illuminate... and the cockpit ambient lighting changes completely... SIMPLY AMAZING DETAIL!!Themis KatakalosAthens, LGAV

LOL...!! Very Good...!
-
Fluid motion at its best, all the cockpit seems to be running at 200fps!... I only noticed that the trim wheel is a bit jerky. Is that because of an early beta?Themis Katakalos
