    I think I replied earlier in the thread but having flown this evening locally, and in real time, around two hours before sunset it was far too dim in HDR. Don't get me wrong: it looked spectacular! But it was nowhere near bright enough.

    Haha! So it was YOU who caused the Zotac to be removed from my basket 😄 I decided to get one despite my comment earlier. What can you do? For shame. Anyway, mine's supposed to arrived on the 5 October. Believe that when it happens.

    Nvidia's formally confirmed the 3090 will only be a 10 to 15% performance increase at 4k over the 3080. For me, that's not worth paying the extra so I'll join the queue for a 3080. https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/news/rtx-3090-out-september-24

    You can download as much of the world as you like, and in three different levels of detail, if you have the storage space. I saw no difference whatsoever myself. This is on a 60Mbps connection so your mileage may vary, of course.

    Me, too. Although early information regarding the 3090 vs the 3080 doesn't appear to indicate it's remotely worth the premium over a 3080. Of course, there was always going to be huge swathes of doubt over whether the performance uptick would be worth it but, for me, potentially 5 or 10% at 4k for around twice the cost... that's... well... disappointing.

    I see the same with my 2080 Ti and 8700k (4.8 GHz) running in 4k.

    Ah, okay. Thanks both. You would have thought having MSFS installed on a fast NVMe drive would make a difference but oh well. That said, hugely enjoying these flights (although the latest patch has inadvertently broken them). Hope they add more, and preferably with some nice commentary. In fact, I'd happily pay for that.

    I am seeing these micropauses in bush flights, too, although there's nothing suspicious happening according to resource monitoring. Did you ever get to the bottom of the issue?

    This happened to me for the first time yesterday in the 172 on a 20 minute flight. Not sure of the need for the hyperbolic reaction, though 😁 It'll get sorted.

    In Steam, it uses your Steam wallet balance but purchases from within the game.

    If you're used to G-Sync, you can just tell when scrolling your view across the cockpit. I've got the same issue. Also, I can't get it to stay on through Nvidia Inspector. What settings are you folks using? Are you using 'Microsoft Flight Simulator' as the application from the drop-down list? Just trying to check I'm applying correctly.
