  1. I am actually more interested in the flight guidance capabilities than the voices. For example, will BATC be able to vector me proficiently? Maybe add a 'goof leg' when there is too much other traffic? Squeeze me in between other aircraft, using speed restrictions? And so forth. If it can do that well, then so much has been achieved. And what kind of voice you're ultimately hearing would become a side discussion.
  2. At this point, the one thing that keeps me from fully enjoying the sim is the lack of good ATC. Everything else is there, aircraft, scenery, tools,… In other words: I am ready to pay up.
  3. I am sure they hard at work behind the scenes. We waited endlessly for the A320 sharklets but when it was finally released, it was completely worth the wait. When they come up with something for MSFS (be it an A320 CEO/NEO or A330), it will be impressive, and likely raise the bar. This is simply what their history suggests.
  4. I think that is the reason why it's taking FSL so long to come up with something for MSFS. But if they prioritize the A320 NEO (or A321 NEO 🥰) over the CEO variants I believe they're all set. I can't see those on the horizon from Fenix yet. Not to speak of an A330 that is rumored to be in development by FSL.
  5. It is surprising that nothing has improved, even in the Age of AI as they call it, when Microsoft themselves have vowed to bring artificial intelligence to their entire product stack. At this point, the bar is ridiculously low.
  6. The NG3 still has bugs that the old NGX from 2011 had... sure they did quite a few improvements, added some features, but overall they reused the code every time through and charged full price for it. He announces so much stuff (GFO, Rainmaker, secret project, P3D updates, LNAV improvement, Navdata encoding, did I forget anything?) that never materialize or with years delay. When you query him on that, as long time customer even, he gets all emotional and basically calls you a liar, even when you show his own forum posts as proof.
  7. He has a funny way of saying „no, it‘s not coming“…
  8. Sounds like it's still weeks/months away... so much for a short(er) beta
  9. I more hyped for this than the PMDG 777, FBW A380 and Fenix Block 2 together.
  10. My hope is for more, and updated, OFP layouts. It's truly been years since we've had a new one. And many existing ones are quite outdated.
  11. Thanks for the heads-up, shall try with that value.
  12. "Medium" for the Fenix, because that's what they recommend apparently (haven't verified it yet, though). "Realistic" for anything else.
  13. Love it. Seems pretty accurate as well. Had a SIGMET showing turbulence around LFML and sure enough it got pretty bumpy on the way down.
  14. Someone's got a sense of humor 😀
  15. The best: ATC giving the next altitude clearance 2000 feet rather than just 200 feet before. That issue had bothered me since FS9 days 😀
  16. If they are to maximize their earnings (and they are still a business), they will release the 77L and 77F first. I can content myself flying some Air Canada ops and likely even some cargo, but for the sake of customer satisfaction, I hope the -200ER and -300ER variants won't trail too far behind.
  17. Now we need someone to develop a good ATL scenery please 🙏🏻
  18. Now wait for FSLabs announcing an A330 😂 soon we‘ll have the entire Airbus longhaul line-up
  19. My thoughts as well... I have good hopes for 2024, though.
  20. By the way, do any of you guys remember the HNAC A300 for FS9? This was one of the first aircraft I ever flew and I think it has contributed to my becoming loyal to this hobby for so many years. So even though the A300 is not widely used anymore, it still has a special place for me. And I am sure this bird for a long time to come.
