  1. I thought it was backwards. I'll check tonight. I hope I'm wrong. It's something you don't need 😉 I mean, since you have a 4060 Ti, you can enable the actual Frame Generation with no mods at all, as everyone with a RTX 40 Series. Those with RTX 30 Series or earlier didn't have any option until last December, that someone released a mod enabling FG. However, it comes with some artifacts that I'm willing to put up with. Which traffic and how many? With FSLTL and default enhanced EDDF, I rarely get 30. If I manage to do so, it's with a lot of stutters. You already saw we have the same resolution, RAM and CPU.
  2. How many FPS you get with the 4060Ti? It's hard to me to justify the switch to a 4060 (downgrade) or 4060Ti (too expensive). After getting the FG mod (and using Noel's RTSS Front Edge Sync method for locking FPS), I can no longer stand 30 FPS (at least not until I can finally disable custom camera transitions). Also, how did you manage to enable DLSS in DX11? I thought it was a DX12-exclusive feature.
  3. Are you sure? I used to apply a similar trick (back when there was no FG mod). I stopped only because of the glass instrument blurries.
  4. Thank you both! I'll treat Fenix B2 as a new addon then.
  5. Yay 😁! Will current B1 liveries work, or it would be better to remove them all?
  6. Now that we're discussing supersonic vs subsonic, what ground speeds did Concorde usually report?
  7. Mmm, somehow I think it will be released on 7/7. I've already set aside $77.70 for the bird😝
  8. If you manage to get a sale, go Premium Deluxe. The 787 has turned into one of my favorite MSFS birds.
  9. Sorry Lenovouser, I misread you. I thought I read 65535. With 65493, your current AM settings are right. My apologies 🙇‍♂️ SMT on may help with other apps, but not with flight sims, as far as I've seen. If your temperatures are OK, there's no reason to turn it off if ou have a good AM... but that's not your case. But, before messing with BIOS, do you lock your framerate? If so, how? Your cooling looks good; at least a lot better than mine (aircooled, 220W TDP CPU cooler, 4 x 120 mm fans (2 in, 2 out) and I reach barely 80°C (peak) in MSFS. I started keeping SMT on because I run several utilities along my sim. Unless there's something going wrong with your AIO pump or your thermal paste, I wouldn't worry about that.
  10. If the pressurization system is good enough and keeps a low cabin altitude V/S. Otherwise, pax will definitely notice it in their ears.
  11. Yes, you have several options: 1) spread the load better. As of now, you're forcing both the main and render threads to run in Core 0 (Threads 0 and 1). You may set either 0 or 6 for Main thread, 2 for Render and 4 for Frame. That way, you'll be running each of P3D's threads in a physical core (instead of sharing physical and logical). That might be the easiest one to apply. EDIT: I misread your AM settings. After a second read, I see you did correctly (Main/Render/Frame threads each in a dedicated physical core). 2) turn SMT off (in BIOS) and recalculate your affinity mask. 3) Improve your cooling: the 5800X3D runs rather hot, compared to other AM4 CPUs. That's the most expensive option here... Ah, and lock your frame rate externally (either in Nvidia Control Panel or RTSS). Unlike MSFS (and it's pesky camera transitions), 30 FPS is good and smooth enough for P3D. If you lock within P3D, or don't lock FPS at all, your CPU would be forced to run at 100% at all times.
  12. I tried Málaga (SKLA) yesterday. Comparing with Google Maps and with the Aerocivil charts, looks OK. I didn't fly there since FS9, so I don't have a way to check if there were any improvements.
  13. @lehbird, what Farlis meant is as long as it manages to mantain a cabin altitude climb or descent rate below 1000 ft/min. If you can see the 737 overhead, there's some kind of VSI in the pressurization section. This is the one that you want to keep between -1000 ft/min and +1000 ft/min. If the pressurization system is good, it won't matter what vertical speed you see in your PFD.
  14. I did update my Maddog, however, I was never prompted for registration. I did see the livery manager directly. Maybe because I had her already activated.
  15. Hallo Bruno, danke schön. Das ist alle mein Deutsch 😝 But seriously, while my German is rather schlecht, and I wouldn't be able to enjoy your work, I've seen FS forums in German. I'm pretty sure the simmers that frequent them will appreciate them a lot. So, thank you very much!
  16. I have the default detailed EDDF. Obviously I fear the upgrades may have made it heavier for the CPU. If I can keep the default one and opt out of the world hub version, it would be interesting.
  17. I'd believe that. However, Nvidia Inspector's half refresh rate V-sync (or 1/3 or 1/4) works for me, despite being just a borderless window. I don't remember what did I set in Display options, but I can share tonight as soon as I get back to my rig.
  18. Thanks a lot! I tried today's version for a LIMC (default)-KIAH (FSDT), and I was amazed I could keep 60 FPS during approach and landing while having almost 100 AI planes there. Since I use Noel's method for locking FPS (and the FG mod), sometimes I need to reduce the frame lock in RTSS to anything between 50 and 60 FPS. Do I lose anything by setting a lower FPS target in AutoFPS, instead of the 55 FPS you suggested? PS: nice profile picture😉
  19. I guess you need to back off in some settings (namely, autogen, AI traffic and scenery complexity). But, since you have a laptop, there are two things you need to be sure of: - FSX is using your 3050, and not your integrated graphics. If I remember correctly, you can check that in NCP. - Your CPU is not throttling (you can use either HWMonitor or HWinfo for checking the current CPU clock frequency in GHz). The latter is because, all the times I flew in laptops, I had to reduce CPU clocks (to something a bit below boost freq) so that it would never throttle. I used to do that with ThrottleStop, but with newer CPUs, I'm not sure it can be done. Othet than that, would be disabling boost, but you'll end up stuck with 2.3 GHz.
  20. I don't know where are those sceneries, but they look beautiful!
  21. Thank you very much! I installed it. I use the FG mod, and I lock my frames in RTSS at 60 (MSFS thinks it's doing just 30). If I understood you correctly, I should set 60 as target FPS?
  22. Averaging all CPU cores (including logical ones if HT is turned on). As you may see in other threads, MSFS uses 2 cores fully. With your CPU model, I guess you have HT off, and 2 maxed-out cores out of 10...well, there's your 19% load.
  23. The thread is 73 pages long, and googling "MSFS2020_AutoFPS" yields only this thread and @Reset XPDR Avsim's profile. Where can I download this new version?
  24. Looks like Maracaibo. I can say that photo is of no Colombian airport at all.
