  1. Remember to add your name.It appears that cells J9, J14, H24, and M20 are not set for anything. They appear as zeros or blanks to me. J20 is also not connected to J19 for APU, only GTOW and Taxi.I noticed you included APU on time, that is something I haven't seen before, even on my sheet. Where did you get the 300kg/h from? The way the extra fuel works is that for every 4,500kgs above or below, you add or subtract the amount of fuel on the adjust row per hour of flight time. Read the whole example, you will see that the extra fuel is added for a final fuel load on the last row of the paragraph.
  2. Here is a link to the wind documents. To get it in PDF form over the weird default format click the blue dot instead of the chart name.http://aviationweather.gov/iffdp/
  3. Do not use FSX to load fuel. Fuel truck included. Use the 747 load manager external program.Remember to sign your name to your posts.
  4. If you have a Google account, why not make a form/poll. I'd be willing to do it for you if you want.https://spreadsheets...d2Qzgwdnc&hl=enhttps://docs.google.com/
  5. I believe we have had them before, or am I thinking another forum? I'll spend a few minutes looking for it, be right back. That was easy. http://forum.avsim.n...eenshot+contestIt was started by Dan (Turbine777) way back in October. I remember it because I had forgotten to submit my entry in time.
  6. Check out this topic, I think I have just what you are looking for. Be sure to grab the IGS approach off of AVSIM.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/326142-another-pmdg-vhhx-question/page__p__1924815#entry1924815
  7. No, the plane will come with all the manuals, including the Boeing ones. The Boeing manuals just will not be online.
  8. I don't know. To the average person hearing you say "I was the 12,000th person to buy the PMDG 737NGX" all you would get is a and a <walk away slowly>. Its a great idea though, just don't share it with the rest of the world.
  9. Remember to sign your name, it is a rule here.On the DEP/ARR page go into your arrival airport. On the right side of the FMC there are a list of approaches available to the STAR (Arrival Route). Just click on one to make it the active approach (if you are flying a visual approach go to the bottom and select a plain runway). If the runway you are looking for is not listed you need to pick a new STAR or not have one selected period. To deselect a STAR click on it.Here's a tip for you if you fly Real World weather. FSX ATC will always guide you to the runway most aligned with the wind at the airport. Use http://aviationweath...ov/adds/metars/ to find the current weather at your destination. If you don't know how to read a METAR report yet pick the "Translated" radio button to quickly find the wind report. For example a wind report of 220 degrees at Atlanta (KATL) will direct ATC to bring you to one of the 27 runways.
  10. You have not yet told your airplane what level of flaps you are landing at. Go to the INIT REF page when you begin your descent and on the right side there will be two options. On will say "25/XXXkts" and the other "30/XXkts". Each of those is a landing flaps configuration for 25 and 30 degrees of flaps, and the Vref (Landing speed). Select one and copy it to the area of blank boxes. It will fill in and allow you to land properly.
  11. You have most likely not fully started up the power systems. Cross-reference every electrical item with the checklist. If you don't know what or where something is let us know and we can point it out to you.
  12. Oh gosh, I found a problem here that may set us back a few months. I need my autoland system to go from "up" to the ground .
  13. Yes, because the air density is less, less air is pushed over the wings, but also through the Pitot tube. So IAS wil always stay the same with different pressures, you just have to go faster over the ground to achieve the same air-pressure/flow.
  14. Assuming it is the 747...The gear warning horn goes off anytime the flaps are at or greater than 25 and the gear is up. Positive climb or not.
  15. Perfect idea mate! 20 Bucks per plane is very reasonable. You get your 600, your 700, your 800, and your 900, all for a very reasonable $80 .
  16. Technically second, if that overhead pic really is from a 6 or 7.
  17. Did you send a support ticket? I'm sure there you can get some more specilized service with that error message.
  18. To create a 25 mile boundry, go into the fix page. Enter in the waypoint you want to draw around. The location stuff will fill in, and you will have three blank lines. In one of those lines type in "<heading>/25" which stands for "X heading, 25 mile ring." You can do this multiple times to match what is depicted on the chart. You cannot input the altitudes though, that is something you will have to monitor.
  19. 1. I belive so.2. I once answered this question [with yes] and really got my bum burned, so I would now assume the answer is no.3. I don't think so. There has been no hinting about it from PMDG anyways.
  20. Where is the RA located? Is it in the NLG or closer to the MLG. Bacause if it is in the nose, 10" at flare attitude would put the MLG on the ground.
  21. If its your eyesight that you are worried about it is perfectly legal to wear corrective eyewear for a civilian pilots liscence. Not sure with the military though.
  22. Are you sure? Seems like it would involve a bit of work importing that data off the internet (or incorporating from FSX weather). I don't think that will be included but hey, PMDG might surprise us.
  23. I would wager as to having seen this in the Queen as well. I would pause with the default load, then load up to my flight weight. WhenI resume I belive I can see a tiny dip in height.
  24. Is there an AFCAD below it for AI traffic? Looks good so far.
  25. Another way to temporarily avoid FSX ATC is to wait for a handoff. After you accept it just leave the ATC alone without contacting the new frequency. It works every time. Whenever you get back with ATC, like Tower for your final approach, expect some funny vectoring to come from it, just ignore it and let it run its course until you get something more reasonable.
