Hahahahahah PMDG never stops delivering brilliance! Now their first "sandbox" project is amongs the highest detailed planes in the simulator! I will now start to buy all their products again. X-Plane FTW!!!

Wow! The level of cockpit detail is amazing. The pmdg ngx looks dull compared to this project/ixeg/flyjsim 737/727. X-plane FTW!

The 727 rules! iam holding off the 757 due to bad modeling of the 3D mesh and bad textures. I do not like that one...

i would buy it if the cockpit was better modeled and better textures. There is a new level in modeling/texturing and the 757 is far behind. There are new addons that have raised the bar. The Flyjsim 727 and SAAB is outstanding in both simulation AND cockpit modeling/textures. I am intresting about the 757 due to its system depth but i wont pay high-standard price when the cockpit looks dated/off. NO SOUP FOR ME! Same goes for the newly released 747. 60$ for that modeling/texturing. It makes x-plane get a bad rep when people from FSX land looking at whats comparable for "PMDG" prices in x-plane world.

Why not finish the cockpit textures before release? it looks like something from 1998...

Byt Fly J Sim 727 and you will have an eargasm! Its the best i have heard so far! Good luck PMDG with your develeopment for X-Plane. I have abandoned FSX and P3D V2 looks like garbage with old tech, i will never go there. I Laugh everytime there is a new Tweak guide topic (every 5 min) in their forums.

PMDG is a class of its own might be true in FSX land. But here in X-Plane, IXEG is the KING and leaves the PMDG far behind!

Why all the talk about FSX vs P3D vs X-Plane 10 etc.... It is: IXEG or no IXEG! Simple as that! If IXEG changes the plans and releases for Sub Logic 2, then Sub Logic 2 it is! =) heheheh

you are so right magnetite! The great thing with FSX is the community. Sadly the engine will never be upgraded and now i think even with the community input the graphics are to old to play around with

There was a great list of the best airports in X-Plane. We should make a new list after the update. That way we could plan our flights so we know we depart and arrive at great scenery airports.

Short answer: Yes , its a myth. Everyone that thinks the simulation is fluid is used to 5fps from sublogic. I see lots of youtube videos where the title is: "FULL MAX TWEAKED, ULTRA HIGH, SUPER SMOOTH SETTINGS". And it A: Looks like crap B: Runs like crap. FSX is like the time before the Voodo 2 card arrived! Not going to be smooth even how fast CPU you have!

Yeah me too. The systems and failures looks awesome but the windscreen layout is a problem. I think lots of developers or the X-Plane Engine / FSX Engine itself dont model this good. Maybe when you open the airplane in the 3d program everything looks good but when imported the windscreen looks double height and short width. I think the JarA320 has this problem to, and in FSX i think every airplane has this problem, even the NGX. The only aircraft with correct "feel" that the window is wider and not so tall in height is the IXEG 737. I think that this is the part that makes is look so good. The upper window-border is "flat" and it is really wide and not so tall like in the real aircraft is you look at videos. I dont blame all of it on the developers, i think this is just a problem that is hart to get right when simulating an aircraft.

Agree not much going on in the x-plane world right now... Holding out for ixeg, saab 340 and 757 x737 3d cockpit. Wish ixeg came out this year, it will be something special!

In X-Plane you can override the simulator to prevent actions like the video, this is done in the upcoming IXEG 737. For me FSX has been uninstalled for the past 1,5 years. I have bought the PMDG 747 and used it many years ago with poor performance (hardware prob at that time also due to fsx = 10-15fps). i reinstalled fsx just for buying the NGX, this aircraft is the best in the aviation sim and still i don´t use it due to i can´t stand FSX, hate the stutters, CTD, bad lighting etc so sadly i have flown the 737 just 2-3 times. I wish it would exist for X-Plane because it is amazing. This is also the first time i won´t be bying a new airliner that comes out from PMDG. I know the 777 will be fantastic, but if its not for X-Plane i am not going for it.

This plane is from another world! FIIIINNNNALLLY I have a high detailed Medium Airliner with complex system! When IXEG Comes it will be good, but the 727 is so much fun to FLY du to its "old" systems! There is no VNAV-LNAV and then fall a sleep. This bird needs to be piloted all the time! The autoland is superb and the sounds make me wet in my pants!
