  1. This one is definitely for me. This is the best Airbus ever in FSX. Are we just a few hours from release?
  2. Ignore me if you didn't use that thing. I mean Enbseries.
  3. I am not here to fly as a passenger LOL.
  4. Global texture should be set to ultra high. The strange color in you first pic (that OH panel) may have something to do with ENB.
  5. I would say Google works all the time.(and it's fast, too)
  6. Probably the computer won't apply full pressure. It's true that max manual is more powerful than max auto. You can find that statement in 777 manual.
  7. I've experienced exactly the same error before. As stated in the link above, this is likely to be caused by an incorrect un-installation and can be solved by fixing the registry. You can either manually fix it or use ccleaner.
  8. I find out my A320 FCOMs, and now I almost understand how those things work. As you said, in Airbus the "FINAL APP" mode is something like "LNAV+VNAV" in Boeing, and I guess that is only for RNAV APP.(?) So, my conclusion is that if Aerosoft does not model FPA/TRK, we can only use V/S instead. Anyway, I don't care too much about flying with V/S and ALT. At least that would not be too annoying for me. Looking forward to my new bus...
  9. It's not only a matter of "like" or "dislike" 2D panels. However, many people like me "need" 2D panels to fly, or fps will drop significantly with PMDG's detailed model. Not everyone has the money to upgrade their PC, OK?
  10. First thanks a lot for your explanation. I don't know much about Airbus systems. Though I fly NGX for almost a year, I seldom fly to airports without ILS. In the normal procedure section in 737NG FCOM, it said we can fly VNAV with VOR/LOC. I guess that should be the reason why FPV is rarely used in 737NG. VNAV is based on FMS calculation and it should play the same role as Airbus's FPA (during NPA), right? Airbus pilots have FPA to help them do the non-precision approach, but Boeing pilots don't need it since VNAV has its great functionality. I am wondering that, if it's possible to fly in "managed" mode with "LOC", then everything will be fine. I have no idea whether this is possible or not. Anyone know about this? I would appreciate a lot. I read a post from an Airbus A330 pilot several months ago. He said Airbus adds a "slight" forward pressure at 50' AGL, but he can barely "feel" that. Thus, I don't really think this thing is important as we may not really notice the effect of the slight forward trim.
  11. I have a question here: Does it mean that we can't fly a Non-precision APP in A320 with only FD (non-FPV)? We don't need FPV in 737 since FD does a nice job, why can't we do the same thing on Airbus?
  12. Have you tried to add this line to the [Main] section of FSX.cfg? DISABLEPRELOAD=1
  13. Honestly speaking, X-plane's mountain is pretty awesome. However, I personally consider FSX's world makes me feel more realistic. Notice that there are many, many add-on scenery/aircrafts/utilities ready for FSX. Image the beautiful ORBX/Aerosoft scenery, and the highly-realistic PMDG/Level-D aircrafts. Those add-ons are my reason for choosing FSX. Welcome to the virtual sky!
  14. Actually nobody knows the answer to this question. FSLabs, Aerosoft, and BBS are all working on their bus. We don't need to judge before they finish the product, right? Aerosoft will release their extended version on Sep 2, and let's wait and see which will be the best.
  15. I had this problem before. Remember to install the latest service pack and everything will be fine.
  16. Undoubtedly 777 is one of the best. Will be excited to see some pics of my future office.
  17. First time to hear about new VATSIM pilot client. It should be interesting although I am already pretty comfortable with FSInn. I guess the 777 might not be released until next year, but I'm currently looking forward to Airbus X extended.
  18. Nice shots! They are very realistic!
  19. soft touchdown......(crash!!) I think -300 is more acceptable. Can a passenger know which is -3fpm and which is -300fpm? I think they are almost the same.
  20. AES now supports KPHL-X, for free. http://www.sunskyjet.com/forums/index.php?topic=878.0
  21. The link is working for me but it may be too slow. Note that the airport scenery is a very "lite" version, which includes only a few major buildings and the AFCAD. If you want it please PM me.
  22. I may think the Airbus extended a good option. Those shots from Aerosoft's forum are stunning.
